It's not impossible to make spaghetti with the language, but it's also not that hard to read and follow the logic to make block diagrams, flowcharts, etc from old code.. This is just a guess but I'd bet there are tools out there to do just that.
I'm around 10 years from retiirement and would happily ride that wave into the sunset. My very first real job was coding COBOL on a Wang VS80 (later we upgraded to the VS100, woo), I'm sure it would all come back to me.
Thiis is exactly right, it's all about legal liability. Next time you see some asinine rule or practice put in place by any organization, I can virtually guarantee it's there to limit liability.
My anecdote: Tried the knockoff WallyMart brand, it worked poorly if at all. Not sure why as the percentage of glyphosate was the same according to the bottles. The real deal killed everything within days. I was trying to avoid giving big bad Monsanto any of my money, but I needed to kill the weeds so they got me in the end.
This bill is going nowhere. It's absurd. Those clowns that introduced it are two of the more worthless members of the GA, and that's quite a feat in itself.
In the six or so years since I cut the cord, Cox has raised my internet rate from a somewhat reasonable $55 to a ridiculous $79 with no significant increase in bandwidth.
It seemed every other release would break most of my add-ons and I'd have to wait for the devs to update their stuff. Now that they will intentionally kill them all, I certainly have no reason to go back.
I suppose I could, but there are not-insignificant costs and ramifications that go along with that. Also, I am seriously considering selling the house within the next year or so anyway, the neighborhood has gone to shit in the 20 years I've been here.
Couldn't agree more. I am currently stuck with them as my mortgage servicer, and they suck so hard it hurts. They screw up my escrow at least once a year and I have to fight them to correct it. I wish they would just sell my account to someone else, but they are known for hanging on to their loans so I don't see than happening. Gahd I fucking hate them.
There are a few local discount offers that are better than nothing, and once in a great while they had a daily deal for a few bucks off your bill, whoopty doo. I have 100k or so points that I will burn up before the program ends, but I will not be partaking in the new scheme. At least with the current one you weren't required to enroll in their spying program.
According to the FAA paper, local LE will have no jurisdiction or authority beyond "reporting" to the FAA. Having said that, I am certain that a few Buford T. Justice-types will overstep their bounds and hassle innocent pilots.
of course they are.
They want the hobbyists to go away so they can own that airspace for their member's delivery drones and other money-making gimmicks.
Try them before you make uninformed statements, AC.

Hey now you two....go ahead and fuck each other but be sure to give a reacharound now and then, k?
Well of course they can, AC, you own nothing. Just stop paying property taxes, you'll see how it all works.
I used to work for a guy that ran a lot of the materials to build his new house through the business. Knew of a few others that did similar things.
That is the same response I received when I filed a request for my own data, which is all they will ever say about anyone.

You know, before they got strict.
I never use it, but it makes me happy to know I got one over on them.

Holy crap, you're right...he IS his own worst enemy.
John Deere would like to have a word with you. DMCA abuse is common by their ilk.

If everyone that owns and flies model UAS were to issue a collective middle finger to these asshats, the whole thing would go away overnight.
If the playback hardware is accurate, and it's moving plenty of air through good drivers, the only sound quality limitation is the source material.
Pono can't fix the crap recordings, bad mastering, or over-compression that seems to prevail in 2015 audio life, and that's why it's a hard sell.
