    In addition to the laser device being the source of the light, I believe that the highly monochromatic nature of the light is part of the 'laser light' essence. This is presumably preserved regardless of the spatial dispersion.

    I always thought that I knew that the Enterprise had hatches below each reactor so they could be dumped in the event of a bad problem ("eject warp core", just to save other posters the time). Perhaps I am wrong - wouldn't be the first time...

    Actually, I believe that in this use the word 'seriously' is actually an adverb, as it is implied that it refers to an action (verb, in case you have forgotten), and since 'fucking' is used to modify (hence 'modifier') 'seriously', then it too would be an adverb, as generally any modifier of either a verb, adverb, or adjective is called an adverb.

    Hopefully by the time you complete your GED you will have the opportunity to study English grammar.

    First sci fi I read as a young kid was the Mushroom Planet series (Eleanor Cameron). Got the same books out of the same library when my kids started reading around 3-4, and they have recently found copies to buy for themselves and me. Now if they would just get their heads out of the books and make me some grandchildren...

    Obviously, since the issue at hand was the tyranny of the majority. Clearly the public at large was tyrannizing the poor minority of copyright holders and SCOTUS stepped in to defend them

    If every elected official and his/her staff were forbidden to have any conversation with any party (an "open meeting" law) without it being entirely public (think 24 hour webcast in every case) and were obliged to live their lives with the resources and services of the median household while serving plus 2 years thereafter, we as a governed people would be better off.

    One best thing. Every subject taught, every student taught, every portion of each learning experience is different. To try and force one approach is to deny the variability of the participants and the subject matter. Passion is the only universal secret sauce.
