For me "Year of the Linux Desktop" was 2009 - it was the year when my parents (60+) started using Ubuntu instead of Windows. They LOVE it and I don't have to fight with all those viruses and malware.
This is NOT Flash 10.1. Flash 10.1 will be released in a month or so.
Currently in Android we have a Flash Lite which happens to have version string 10.1. But it is NOT full Flash 10.1.
Hey you, fanboy, why you have chosen Nexus One which is sold only in a web store? Why don't you mention Motorola Droid/Milestone which actually outsold iPhone in the same period of time? (first 60-70 days since premiere).
Not true, 32 bit processors can access 4GB of memory (2^32), HOWEVER since video card, basically any IO card etc. has it's own memory space then the amount of RAM processor can address is decreased (total addressing space is 4GB).
But it can be easily fixed by enabling PAE, then 32 bit processor can access 64GB of memory (with very slight 2-3% speed overhead).
Android for example does not allow a memory cleanup program to close other programs (due to security constraints - each application is separated from others). You need root for this...
Should be, but usually they're in form of binary blob. Which is a problem when for example a new version of firmware requires new kernel which those binary blobs do not support. See what happens with HTC Android phones, HTC Magic, Hero and G1 don't support newest Android 2.1 fully because there are no 3D and camera driver source code available...
The same is with iPhone as far as I know. There is no full web interface and iTunes does not work on Linux...oh wait this is Slashdot, all here use Windows;-)

Well, this is not exactly true...For my eyes Theora+OGG encoded in 327kbps is much better than H264 encoded with the same bitrate: http://people.xiph.org/~greg/video/ytcompare/comparison.html

Because in Poland there are no paid apps in the market too...:-)
