There's only one thing worse than a non-technical manager. A non-technical manager that thinks he's a technical manager. I still can't figure out how he can be stuck on TCP/IP for his MCSE, for the last _year_. He's been working on his MCSE for at least 13 months that I know of.
if you're referring to the ti99/4a, no, that had a TS9000 or TS9900, can't remember.. not Motorola either way. been 15 years since i looked at the manual for mine.
There's _just_ about enough room to stuff one of those under my spoiler on my '96 trans am.. course, i wouldn't want to go drilling holes into the spoiler.. and it's a couple hundred bucks for a spare one:(
what about 75mhz? (525mhz):P i'm running a 466 at 582 right now, just had to replace the network card because it wouldn't work at 41.5.. matrox G100 is quite happy at 83 agp, and the rest of my pci stuff is fine at 41.5 heatsink is barely warm. I had a 300@450 before, and it got a lot warmer than this 466@582.

last i checked, my courier IModem can handle IDSL. actually.. now that i think of it, i can't remember if it's the IModem, or the regular old courier that can do it. that'd be neat, cause this used to be a 28.8 upgraded to 33.6 for free, upgraded to x2 for free, upgraded to v.90 for free. GO USR! =)
I'm wondering bout the legal aspects of a Canadian, working for an American company by telecommuting. From the research I've done, If you don't have your degree in a related field, you can't get your H1-B work permit. I live within 5 minutes of Detroit, MI, so a physical work location in the area would be ideal, but INS isn't willing to give that needed work permit, because I don't have a piece of paper saying B.Sc. It's hard to justify going through the three to four years of boredom and financial costs, for a degree that will not be useful in the job market. I've found myself that hands on experience of a few years, far outweighs the potential of someone just out of university. So, my question is, is it legal for someone to telecommute to work, from a foreign country? I would imagine the tax situation would be interesting to say the least. But does this get around the need for a work permit?
100M_b_ps switched ethernet.. = 12.5 meg per second transfers
160M_B_ps Ultra160 Scsi = 160 meg per second transfers.
Theorectical of course, your milage may vary.
Course, your 100mbit ethernet can go 100m, i believe the scsi is limited to about 12m without repeaters.

and yet, you can get the parents to share the bed with their almost teen-age daughter/son of the opposite sex.
