The people arrested were in several nations. What is unusual and a bit frightening is that it seems like they were able to get arrest warrants or whatever was needed crossing international lines really quickly. It almost seems like some uber government organization was at work on this affair.
So according to that line of thought if I had met a girl in high school and I was aware that her current boy friend was unstable and likely to kill himself if she goes out with someone else then I can not ask her out without some legal jeopardy.
Frankly i don't see it. Each person must keep their own act together without regard to how hard others are slamming their sacred buttons or smacking them in their tender spots.
At the end of the day a person who commits suicide is the one with the responsibility. Although it is surely true that some people are more vulnerable than others it is also true that they should have done some self hardening and been far less vulnerable.

From the past I wonder just how much privacy an American Indian who spent his entire life with a tiny tribe experienced. Chances are everyone knew every little thing about every other member of the tribe. Did harm flow from that? I sort of doubt it.

I noticed in my younger years that whenever I was trying to punch someone down I always felt some hate and anger at that moment. Race, religion, color or place of birth or age have nothing at all to do with it!

Now we are down to coal and we were more than willing to kill off all the workers in the coal mines as well as pay them wages that starved them while they worked twelve hour shifts seven days a week. Meanwhile the Brits, never to be out done actually had a military like draft that sent young men down into the mines. And now we are sucking petroleum dry. Go figure!
I would be a bit surprised if Alaska can make much of geothermal energy. The reason that I feel this way is that cities can benefit but smaller towns can not stand the expense of geothermal power. I could be wrong but I thought Alaska was a bit shy on cities and rather big on small towns and rural life. Also are the cities that they do have close to good geothermal sources?

If you disagree just try to teach in a situation where your job is on the line if you don't find a way to declare that every kid is Einstein. Parents call all kinds of politicians and officials and even if the kid is dumb as a rock and beyond all educational efforts they want that kid promoted and honored. The sad truth is you create great schools by tossing kids out on their rump. Make it a challenge to get through school and the kids take the bait every time.
Maybe when the technology is inexpensive we can all own such a rig!

He may have had some expectation of privacy. I really don't know. But what I do know is that famous site now has a problem if other porn passes through their site and they fail to catch it. Not doing a good enough job carries legal penalties whereas not doing any job at all relieves them of responsibility. Color that spying can be foolish, expensive and dangerous.
