Well, most of what PragerU posted was prime time bullshit, but I still think he should be allowed to say it, purely for its entertainment value. And because it's great source material for a lot of debunk videos.

  3. Odd. I never had any problem avoiding it. Actually, it was even never suggested to me out of the blue (and I had REALLY weird suggestions in the past). Then again, I never bothered to look for it either.

So what's this supposed to tell us? That you can get propaganda (of all kinds, why single one out?) easily when you're looking for it. Well, DUH? That's newsworthy? Really?

I think it's time for a new news outlet. I call it "obvious news", and it will carry all these things that are apparently outrageous and completely unfathomable ... oh wait, Vice beat me to it.

Him going for a second term? Could you point to anyone who wants that?

Trump? He didn't even want a first term. He wanted a scandal to promote the media outlet he planned to spawn from the hype around it.
Republicans? The GOP wants to get rid of Trump more than the Dems could even want to, the problem is they can't simply say that they want to get rid of the annoying orange.

So who would want to see him a second time? Let alone a third one.

  24. Fahrenheit 451 implies a change of historic records simply because they are remembered instead of written down. Memories are not fixed, they change over time. And even if people don't actively and deliberately try to distort and twist them to match their world view, that tends to happen automatically.

So the net outcome is the same. Whether you deliberately fictionalize history or whether it is an outcome of imperfect memory, the main difference is that the latter is harder to control.
