  1. I would like to know what sort of level of verbal threat counts as worthy of investigation to the Absolute Freedom Of Speech people.

    They can investigate all they want, but they have no right to compel assistance from anyone. *Look, but don't touch*. That is absolute.

    As far as free speech is concerned, read the 1st Amendment as written word for word. No exception is granted, specified, or even implied.

    It's about energy density... I believe the number is not a typo...

    I am not saying this facebook thing isn't a gimmick, just that someday it will be plausible. Or that there are other ways of measuring and mapping brain activity.

    You incorrectly presume we are required to reelect them. We are not. Eventually the message gets through, and we can always add the element of criminal prosecution. But, do what you want, apparently passing the blame is still the rule of the day.

    It's like trying to teach a toddler to create electrical circuits - they might even work, but the toddler won't understand what he/she's actually doing.

    It's like teaching a person how to drive. Sure, they can operate the vehicle, but they're not mechanics or engineers that understand the principles of internal combustion engines and mass and momentum. All they have to know is to not bump into anything.

    Carbon tax is just a fee for garbage collection. It is a perfectly valid way to pay for the necessary clean up. But since the voters elect tycoons and won't oversee their government, it will just turn into another scandal. One way or another, passively or actively, together we set policy.

    Man is not the "most" anything other than the dominant species. But again you misread... If you want to consider acting like chimps or a simple common agenda as "conspiracy theory", be my guest, but to me you're just hand waving, dismissing the most simple things that make your Trump and Clinton into today's winners.

    What does that mean? The "system" is working exactly the way they designed it to function. The failure seems to be in comprehension of the rules and acknowledging the role we play. Of course that could be by design also. The flaw that needs "fixing" is not there, it is here.
