Nothing has been "rigged", you can vote for who you want. You don't have to follow the crowd. The choices are yours, not anybody else's. If you don't like big money in politics, don't vote for people who take it.
After the lawyers get theirs, how much is left over for construction? Well, I wish them the best of luck, and hope they just build it, despite what some judge who is paid to tie things up for a good long time says.
I like sans-serif. Just the letter, no embellishment. Works better with bad vision. Serifs can create weird optical illusions. Arial is probably my favorite.
But small fish ? Remove it don't be evil don't ruibn the life of people with small stuff which would have been forgotten if only a search engine did not exists).
No, you should condemn the people who make judgements based on stupid pictures and statements. They are the ones who act in bad faith and should be sanctioned. Google is a search engine. Let them search, and let the user filter the results, not the state, or even Google itself. I can only wish that Google holds fast (though I know they don't), and tells the censors to go to hell. We must kick them to the side of the road with whatever methods we have.
Google is blatantly trying to manipulate public opinion through journalists. They are deliberately misinterpreting the law to create an impression of draconian consequences.
Who cares? It's a corrupt law. Public opinion was manipulated to get it passed. If they can lie, and it works, then so can we. So fuck the censors and all other authoritarians. Let's fight fire with fire, and do what we can to end this, whatever it takes. Google is doing right. If they have some kind of "nuclear weapon" to wipe out censorship by what ever means at hand (make it impossible to enforce), I sure hope they use it.
The people who made this law should not be lecturing anybody about "good judgement", except maybe the voters who put them into office. Their judgement is indeed questionable.
No no no, that's EXACTLY my point. You want expediency, it doesn't matter if it's the wrong choice, you must do something. Believe me, I know the routine. Thank you for spelling it out so explicitly and succinctly. If I had said it, I would be accused of being simplistic, but it's not. It's the truth. It is the path of least resistance, but it can only produce very short term results because it completely fails to deal with the underlying problem, which nobody wants to even touch, because it demands too much introspection, *blame the other* is the way. Easier to knock out the lights and blind everybody. Poke their eyes out so they won't be tempted.
Oh put a cork in it. You goddamn people aren't even listening. See? You are proving right now how easy it is to dismiss words as you do mine. Well, do the same damn thing for any other rumor you hear about someone else, otherwise you're the asshole.

Whatever, just don't blame the winners for winning.
Don't blame them. Blame the people who take their money. You have a chance to vote them out very soon. Go for it...

It's an old radio signal thing. Generally we don't like multipath.
Who cares? I hope they never, ever allow editing. It would be the worst thing ever.
Damn good thing. Editing a post is a crime against humanity. Just amend it.
I hope you mean multiplex. Usually multipath is a bad thing
It doesn't matter. Enough of them already have, so that the rest have no choice if they want to use Apple products.
There are a lot of things wrong with the American legal system, but its attitude toward free speech is not one of them.
Still, the cost of protecting it is way too high. We have to find a way to reverse the charges onto the damn censors.

Gee, who woulda guessed? Are Polish jokes still in vogue?

All this will do is create further inequities in society.
Well, that is the idea, so it's only natural for laws like this to get passed. They are written by the people who need them most.

No, the law is not a good judgement by the EU. It is censorship, and fuck that.
Yeah, I'm wondering if they're going straight for 3D gesture and voice control type stuff.
It's sucking up bandwidth, and clogging the tubes. The fickle market will decide if it's worth it.
Call it the iiPad
How quaint...
Nuclear can be a bit more dangerous than wind and solar. Your point seems to be lost in that little detail.
Well, this poor guy would be out of a job now, wouldn't he?
