Or perhaps that a cyclical big bang / big crunch is responsible for all of this. Think of a balloon inflating and deflating but as it does, it interacts with "stuff" along the way that latches on or stretches resulting in stretch marks that are re-stretched / interacted with afterwards. Who knows, maybe these stretch marks is what we think is dark energy pulling stuff around, weakened areas of the universe that expands faster than others since it has already expanded before which too much force.

It sure is renewable. The lexicon used is dependent on the utiliser and/or reader/listener, ie us humans. Since our civilization as we know it has lasted/will last but a fraction of the sun's life span, that makes it renewable to us.

So a Chrysler car is derivative work from lets say a Ford car (Ford existed earlier, or the first car company)? Both are cars. In my case, one is an image and the other a string. I could go even further and generate random base64 strings using super computers (would go faster than my current laptop) which eventually one would convert to an image that already exists and no copying was done.

I'm curious, if I download a copyrighted image and convert it to say a base64 string, is it still copyrighted? Who can prove that my string is not just my creation and that by chance (the probability is very slim but still) it converts to an image that is very similar (or exact) to the copyrighted image? What if the same thing is done to a video?

  8. As one of the few who had a Windows Phone 7 (and actually released 5 apps to the wild), I've never heard or seen someone use an Ubuntu phone. What advantages does it offer, why does it exist? I know I got a Windows Phone because I love coding in C# and could do it as a hobby, but Ubuntu?

To be fair, your third statement is misleading. Windows may remove programs during an update for compatibility reasons. If a program is known to cause crashes, bugs, or otherwise conflict with Windows, Windows may remove it to keep your system stable. If this happens, the “All of your files are exactly where you left them” in the windows.old. This only happens because essentially the update is a "new" version of windows. It will only remove programs when updating to a new major version, or “build,” of Windows 10.That’s because these major versions, or “builds,” are treated differently from normal Windows updates. Builds of Windows 10–like the fall update, Windows 10’s first big update–aren’t like normal Windows updates or service packs at all. Instead, they’re more like upgrading to an entirely new version of Windows.
