Reliable, fast, and low-cost(as low as.03 cents/hour(USD).
I've used them for years for hosting sites, as well as testbed stuff. Never had issues that weren't handled within minutes.
Where the fuck are the parents? TFA makes no mention of the parents involvement in this program, only school officials, police, etc. WTF?
On top of that they get an AUTOMATED call reminding them to get to school. Where I come from, that's called an ALARM CLOCK. Really? Talk about teaching irresponsibility by taking the responsibility from them...forcefully. Here you go, now you don't have to worry about setting your alarm... it's all done for you now. Oh, and your parent doesn't have to do anything...
if a record company infringes copyright and no one is around to see it, did it really happen?
pot, meet kettle.
sooo... if they infringed upon someone/some companys copyright on a song that they are suing some random person for downloading... can they really assert copyright if they never truthfully had full copyright? (chicken and the egg)
So... it'll need twice the good stuff(proc, memory) in order to run the same speed as what some of the newer *roid phones do. Means that pricing won't be that wonderful, even on a subsidized plan.
Besides that, having two numbers would *still* need an extra sim card, then wouldn't the OS have to be extended in order to recognize another sim slot and disseminate between the two of them?
I'd rather see google working on allowing me to have more than one gvoice number on my nexus rather than a sub-par(IMHO) manufacturer such as LG creating a "neat" proof of concept. I'm glad it might be possible, but isn't there a better use of time and energy?
skimming over the hulu vs hulu plus, it's a toss up of whether to pay:
hulu vs hulu plus:
last 5 episodes of current popular shows, whereas plus gives you all current season of 45 popular shows.
800 full seasons from hundreds of shows vs full series runs for over 90 shows
Kinda seems like they should rename from huluPLUS(misnomer assumes you get hulu PLUS extras) to huluDIFFERENT
http://syncevolution.org/ Looks fairly promising using your current setup. A brief look give the assumption it's compatible with evolution, and will connect up to anything that talks syncml, and there's a syncml client for nearly any smartphone out there. And some dated info found at http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=398113 gives info on someone setting up evolution to talk activesync, which would allow for windows-based phones to sync up...
I usually rip movies to ISO, then use handbrake to pull the title track to m4v, then use http://clip-bucket.com/ to put up our own family toob site. The player plugin is configurable, so you can use any flash movie player(with h264 pseudo-streaming on the server side to be able to skip around) or an HTML5 code-up to play without flash. Also allows for a download link that will stream the file direct(I use this link to stream to iPod/Android).
Works well.
maybe, just maybe the guy has finally had it?
They made his cubicle smaller and smaller.
They took his red swingline.
they moved him to the basement...
and he finally just burnt the place down?

how is it not surprising, that in true /. fashion, both of those comments took place before reading/viewing TFA.

Do not assume that your software is running with elevated access... (root/administrator)
Correction: don't assume your software NEEDS to run with elevated privileges.

the age old question of how does it apply in practice: "COOL! But how do I game on it?"
