    Most cities in America don't have an Apple store. There are only 2 Apple stores in Kentucky. One in Lexington and one in Louisville. Best Buys are also located in smaller markets like Owensboro, Paducah, Bowling Green, and Elizabethtown.

    Apple stores also doesn't have a large variety of laptops. They only carry macs.

    With Circuit City closed there are not many places to go browse electronics. You next best bet is an Office Max or Staples. From there you step down to the big box stores: Walmart, Target, and Sears where the selection is tiny.

    Sure but I think replacing the old version is important. Futurist were predicting that the flying car would replace the car. The helicopter hasn't done that yet. It is too expensive to replace cars with. The machines are expensive to create and maintain. The fuel cost for flying them is too expensive.

    It is true even if you use the nurture argurment. Two social awkward people are not going to teach their kids good social skills. I think the long work week is also a contributing factor. Social skills need to be demonstrated. If your parents come home and sit in front of a TV your not going to learn the things you need to. So the more hours you work the less you kids are going to learn from you.

    That wouldn't be a flying car. That would be flying public transportation. A replacement for a car needs to give the user freedom to go where they want without handing over control.

    My definition is: 1. A practicle replacement for the car. 2. Is an improvement over the car because it flies from location to location.

    This fits with the horseless carriages term. A horseless carriage is: 1. A practicle replacement for the horse and buggy. 2) An improvement over the horse in buggy because it does not use a horse.

    Depends on the gravitation force in the region that was room temperature. You would need a planet with a very close orbit with all the other neccessary stuff.

    Well it could save money and make sense. Smart kids go to school 4 days a week. Dumb kids get tutured on the 5th day. You do well you get a three day weekend.

    Source code should be required not a binary. And copyrights on the source code should be waived. Licensing of these special works should be clear cut and public. The goal of patents and software should be to create a public library of resusable code. That would promote real progress in computer science. A library that could be effectivilly used by buisness at known prices.

    What countries are these where religion doesn't have a foot in the door? In the United States religion has a giant foot in the door. That is half the worlds wealth. Look at the following study: http://www.ritholtz.com/blog/2010/09/religions-correlation-with-poverty/ There is correlation with poverty and religion as a whole. But can you see correlation if you remove india(buddism) and islam?

    The above menu structure was command line. So yeah it was an Application programming interface. It was more of an API than java is.

    Trademark could protect keywords if you appended your mark to them. For example org.apache.struts2.components; has the apache mark in it.

    Than plan to get money out of Google. They want a share of Googles mobile add revenue. Android pretty much destroyed their mobile Java app buisness.

    Java took the C++ api in part. Oracle is arguing that they themselves are commiting copyright infringement.

    I don't think many people are arguing it was an allegorical description of either of those. But rather an allegorical description of the nature of man. That all men would rebel against God. That it is a thought experirement like Schrödinger's cat.

    Personally I think the proper response for an Christian is humility. The facts are the facts and we worship the God of Truth. Rejecting truth is a rejection of God. We weren't there and neither were the people who recorded Genisis. We should put away our pride and accept that we may be wrong. Accept that just because we read scripture that we don't know everything.

    I'm assuming the stuff he removed infringed Atari copyrights. If that is all that is left then he should consider handing it over. If the stuff he removed doesn't infringe Atari copyrights he should put back up. A jury isn't going to care about his rights to a domain if he has no content.

    It is not a real website. I looked at it. It looks like something a domain name squatter would make. It is a 1 paragraph description followed by about 8 links to another domain. Nothing of value would be lost if this site goes away. No links would be broken. No content lost. This guy is just hoping for a buy out.

    I navigated to atari2600.org It doesn't look like the author is really using the domain. It is nothing but a title and a few links to another domain www.taswegian.com No blog, no community, no content. Just let them have it.
