  1. ...as their 2D inkjet printer counterparts on Breaking Up With MakerBot · · Score: 1

After years of struggling with an inkjet I dumped it for a B/W laser printer. The ink was always dry every time I needed to print something and cartriges are worth their weight in gold. So should I need to print in color -- it's a trip to a local pharmacy.

So assuming that 3D printer is somewhat related to inkjet in principle but more complex, it is probably only meant for dedicated shops and some hobbyist garages, not for mass market. And even if the above mentioned issues are overcome, handling 3d designs is probably more complex than an average comsumer wants to deal with.

Murder and rape is rampart in NYC because 3D printed guns and dildos can pass a metal detector (already installed at every doorway in the city for your protection). Police is still armed with the outdated 2D technology, unable to pursue criminals past the detectors. This enlightened piece of legislation will target only the 3D outlaws who plan to use technology in nefarious ways, because no inlaws will want to print anything like that in the first place. All printer owners will be required to register their printers with NYPD and visit their case officer monthly.

You send the board a letter with a request to get grades, the agency server sends back a letter containing grades. He just sent letters on behalf of every graduating student in India, and the agency sent replies, completely voluntarily and without bothering to check his identity.

I think if this can be explained in a court, modifying URL will no longer be treated as any sort of illegal criminal act.
