    For a simple music player the ipod classic still has the superior design. For simple volume control and song skiping that circle touchpad was far easier to use than a touch screen. I kind of wished the iphones would have one on its back.

    So not the way of the future. Its nice and all but it doesnt compate to having your own music library. A good way to discover new music so you can add it to your library but i wouldnt ever replace it with music streaming

    I dont think self driving trucks would replace truck drivers either they still need some one in the truck to deal with the possible break downs of the vehicle or elf driving system or any other unpredicted situations and they would need some one to handle the paper work when the truck pick up and drop off their loads

With proper time and development of software and hard ware they could be able to not only correctly decide when its nessary to kill a human but do it far more accuratly and consitantly then humans ever could. the quetion is whether we are willing put the enormous amount of time in to developing the tech to the point its that reliable before using it and even if we do will we as a society will beable to trust the tech even when it becomes super reliable.

    I cant understand why anyone would want a hummer. Though i guess my opinion on the matter is skewd do to the fact that i spent many uncomfortable hours in military humvees and now I will forever hate them

    The term for how much mony a power plant generates vs how much money goes into it is Net energy. Wind and solar energy have far greater net energy gains then any fossil fuel or nuclear sources

    Technically geothermal energy isnt renewable. It is possible to use it to the point where the earth cools down in said locations. This has been seen in areas around the world where georhermal energy is heavilly used

    Where data on the internet is physically stored is almost meaningless. From a practical standpoint it doesn't matter you can access it anywhere in the world. Now its now meaningless legally too.

    The problem is its that people are being discriminated against either during the hiring process or by the educational system.

    You can't just fire white males and replace them with female and minority ethnicities, and if the majority of people applying for a positions are white males you cant fix this imbalance without breaking employment laws. In a large international corporation If 5% of interview job applicants are female then around 5% of those hired should be female, if 50% of those hired are female, then that company is obviously discriminating against applicants based on gender and should be sued our fined for breaking employment laws. Knowing ethnicity and gender ratios of a companies employee base with out knowing the ratio of their applicant base is pointless. A companies goal should to get their employee base ethnicity/gender ratio to match the ratio of their applicants. If their ratios match and there is still a huge imbalance then the problem is with their hiring practices but within the education system
