I'm in IT and our shop has NO downtime. We're all busy. In fact, we could clone ourselves, hire the clones (send in the clones?), and we *might* be close to getting all the projects done that the business wants us to do.
I use SWiSH (http://www.swishzone.com) and the ease of use and the fun I have doing my flash pages sure beats the bucks I'd have spent on Flash. Swish is about $50.
Real-time price changes in brick-n-mortar stores *does* happen...
One particular large department store (I think it was Wal-Mart) updates sales in real time. When you go through the checkout line and they scan the item, the price you pay is determined by a number of factors. Also, the fact that the item was purchased goes to their computers (housed in a huge brick building next to their HQ) and inventories and price data are updated.
So, YES, you might pay more - or less - than the person in front of you who just bought the same thing.
In Amazon's case, it's just a bit easier to notice. Does that make it wrong? Nope. Also, I don't believe that they do it on a person by person basis. It is most likely done by time, title, etc.
I think it's "Comic bubble"...
Exercise?!?!
Mommy, he said a bad word!
