Just an added note, the NBCS machine room (basement of Hill (if you know what that building is)) at Rutgers has at least a few dozen of them running various things and another dozen laying around. (I'm one of the system operators, I should know)
One has to remember, these are Sun machines not PC, they don't get throw out until they are very dead (unlike PCs which get chucked every year (since they are crap)).
Oh my god. He is complaining about the 3-button mouse. Clue this guy in, THIS IS A UNIX WORKSTATION, the mouse is suppose to have 3-buttons, no more, no less and nothing else. I have never seen a Unix workstation with anything other than a 3 button mouse.
Does anyone know why Sun stopped using optical mice? (yeah, they used optical mice years ago before it was a fad)
(Just FYI, I'm typing this on a Blade 150 with a 3-button mouse)
At Rutgers University (in New Jersey), the standard is Netscape 7 for www browser and mail. In fact, the only reason that IE is on the computer in the labs is because you can remove the damn thing. Oh yeah, outlook is nowhere to be seen.
Yeah, the show needs way less taking and more battles.
Well if they need talking, let it be something interesting, not the crap they say now.
I stopped watching after the first two episodes cause of the chit-chat, and unless they make it more interesting, I won't be coming back.
There is a downside, more technical talk means more viewers get confused and stop watching. Then there goes the show.
Where were these labs? I work in the machine room in the basement and there doesn't seem to be any signs of former labs.

Sun needs to make another pizza box, I miss those.
It's really amazing how companies still have sparcstation laying around. You can't say that about 486s.

Most of the non-female geared sites, like /., don't care what gender you are and are just there to give information.
This is just a observation and if you find any male gear sites please mail me.
If this did happen, I think it would take more than a day. More like three months with 20 robot crawlers.
