At the place where I work, Camp Susque we have to schedule things down to the very minute because of how hectic things can get. Unfortunately, these beautifally laid out schedules often go awry, because people forget to ring the bells signifying the time to move on to the next thing on the schedule. So, everything gets moved and we have to change schedules to fit everything in. Basically, any schedule is not laid in stone and is fairly flexible...and everything works out in the end. I figure, as long as somone starts work at 9 and ends by 5, the ends justify the means and the scheduling doesn't matter.

second of all, my experience with cellphones is not a happy one. We have a huge cell phone tower on the mountain across from us, which is great if you are in a 2 mile radius of the tower. If you happen to go behind a mountain from it, or go in a different valley, nothing works. So, if you are planning on doing a lot of travel in Trout Run PA, then your best bet is to get something other than a cellphone. Smoke signals work great if the wind is right.

First of all, I was wondering if maybe Intel could some up with some more creative chip names then just using stupid numbers...at least with AMD you have Duron and thunderbird and stuff....intel has Xeon and Pentium 1,2,3,4.

Second of all, who would want a Pentium 4? Besides the stupid kid in my computer class who saw it in a magazine....it will require a 454 gram heat sink...that is a full pound of steenkin aluminum (or whatever metal they use) A brand new mobo design is needed, and a new case with supports for the processor and the heatsink! Unless they sell a conversion kit with it....

Third of all, they are using .18 die set...it would make more sense to me to center new products around .13 or something a little smaller...

also..I heard some talk (rumors..not necessarily true) that a new powersupply is needed as well. This new Pentium 4 chip is full of heat, sucks up the wattage, and requires redesigned cases and mobos. Unless they are faster than 5 Ghz...i think I will stick with my AMD processor, thank you very much. It has a much smaller price tag, and better performance if you ask me.....

In my rural village of Trout Run in PA, we had more voters this year than the last 10 years or so...more than 300! anyways..this is all pretty exciting and tense...I am thinking that Bush will win Florida (and therefore the election) due to the absentee ballots from military people that are abroad. The one I am speaking of had a large writeup about a competition in Deleware where these MASSIVE air compressors (hmmmm..and several were made by ingersoll-rand...conspiracy? or is the magazine biased?) that powered these pumpkin chucking devices. I thought this was really cool, but because of my young age and lack of ability, I was forced to build a potato gun instead, which doesn't have quite the same power. So the other day I looked up this pumpkin thing and I was completely blown away by all the stuff they did now..there were hundreds of pages about it. I was very impressed.
