Absolutely. It became a trophy the moment it touched down sucessfully.
The debate kind of suprised me, I always thought the first one would end up a promotion piece. After all he finally accomplished a vertical powered landing of a 'spaceship' reminicent of the 1950's silver needle spaceships that always landed upright and powered. He just showed us all a reality strait out of our childhood fantasies. Hell, I would have kept it too.

3 bowls of Purple Kush, 2 bottles of Guiness after an 11 hour day. Hell, it's a wonder that it's written as well as it is. I will draw the line at whacking me across the knuckles with your ruler however. It's the weekend, roll with it!
" it makes zero sense for a car to be able to go (much) faster than the maximum allowed speed limit."
Sorry I don't accept that limitation. If my Corvette could only go 80 or 90 why would I of bought it? At that point there would be nothing to distinguish it from a Prius. I grew up in a racing family. Horspower and Torque are fun. Cars that are speed limited or drive themselves equal zero fun. Lifes too short to deprive yourself of an flying down the road in an open cockpit car on warm summers day. Damn, I hate winter.
What a crock though, the syllabus states basicly that it doesn't matter if this is just or not because:
" Her claim that she was entitled to contest the abatement by showing that she did not know that her husband would use the car to violate state law is defeated by a long and unbroken line of cases in which this Court has held that an owner's interest in property may be forfeited by reason of the use to which the property is put even though the owner did not know that it was to be put to such use. "
Or basically, we've been violating everyones rights for so long now that it's set in stone that we continue to do so regardless of the circumstance. Fuck, what happens if you hire a clerk, who sells drugs out of your store? Is your business forfiet? (Example is a real life one, I once fired a clerk who was doing just that) Sounds like a license to steal.
Thanks for the correction. I always thought KTMA was a public station. (I've been to Minneapolis/St Paul many times but never lived there).
Hehehe, that sounds an awful lot like my first experience with MST3K, minus the illness. It became one of my favorites over the years. I had most of the episodes on VHS, now all but the original 4 on my computer. Got to find a copy of the original pitch video as i understand Joel found a copy. It is the only one that exists that I have never seen.
Yes, it was an American TV show that began on public Television in Minneapolis Minnesota in 1984.
Wikipedia has a rather decent article: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mystery_Science_Theater_3000
As to what made it special. Well, that is harder to define. It was in its time, a one of a kind show that a great many of us found funny as hell. If you were to watch it, you would find a portion of the jokes to be relevant to the time, and likely not very funny now. But it was very unique in its time. I still watch them occasionally, I have all the episodes (of differing quality as many were only recorded on home VCRs.) except for the first four public TV episodes that no one ever recorded. If you like old, B or lower movies, many in B/W, you may enjoy it. Some of the skits were a bit insipid, but nothing is ever perfect. Give it a go, you might like it.
I am looking forward to a few new episodes. I truly loved this show at its height. I hope they can re-capture some of the magic of the original series.
I had the backward flying dragons a couple of times, and a texture pop-in or two, but I never encountered a game breaking bug in the vanilla version.
I had to tweak the.ini file as well, as my trackball seemed to be a really good advanced arthritis simulator.
Then I started modding it, and now that I think about it, I never finished the game at all. With a little over a hundred mods, it sure was pretty, and oh so much more dangerous. Time to re-visit it I think.....
Yes, we destroy families by feeding them, housing them, and providing health care. Yes that is sooooo fucking evil isn't it. As far as the ACA, written originally by the Heritage Foundation (including Mitt Romney), Did not get passed by congress back in the early 90's (IIRC, not Googling for a AC retort) Adopted by Dems, because true single payer would never get passed, so now it's evil.

You've never actually driven in snow have you? (disclosure: I am a professional driver trainer for OTR * semi truck** drivers) You are not a decent driver since spinning the tires means YOU HAVE LOST TRACTION AND ARE LOSING MOMENTUM, you must keep your tires rolling forward without spinning them to maintain momentum. When they begin to spin you have failed.
I know Chrome had an extension called 'noisy tabs' or similar, I have not seen one on Firefox. I use 'Tree Style Tab' on Firefox, It may be the addon, but there is no distinction between video and regular tabs. If I have to choose I'll stick with the Tree Style as I really like the way it displays.
A lot (most?) news sites are guilty of the same thing. I try to not open video links in background tabs, but when one gets through, it can be a bitch to figure out what 'just started fucking playing' when you have a whole sidebar of nested tabs open, especially if it was a slow loading one ten tabs back.
While you are correct that most are still 32 bit, that is changing rapidly. Especially in the last two years. Just a couple of years ago WOW, Euro Truck Simulator, Thief, Crysis and very few others would of been your list. Today however :
