Your post if funny and I am sure you also know it is true as well. The military has used duct tape for a long time to repair damage while in flight or on the ground from debris or bullets.

Well, that all depends if your civic is yellow, or how much yellow it has on it.
Speed is directly proportional to the amount of yellow on the car + (coffee can muffler + 2).

Acutally I found an old city bus (greyhound size) for $3900. A 1967 I believe, and it still ran and was in pretty good shape for it's age. There are bound to be plenty of pretty old buses that are past there service life, but have a future either as a motorhome conversion or as "Pete The Skydiving Bus".

You know, that's what I was thinking. I have a car that I have dealt with for so long, and it has finally died. I replaced the head gasket a year ago, and now the repairs I have neglected to do (front axle, water pump, clutch, suspension, CV joints, and wheel bearings) cost much more than the value of the car.
I think I would be doing everyone a favor by dropping it out of the sky and letting it fall to it's death. Good bye, 1983 Mazda 626 - it's time to be gzipped.
What filter would you use? I use an online email client(not hotmail), and I know it is klez because of the large message size, but how do you filter it out? Usually there is nothing in the body of the message, and the subject seems random.
Hah! if we only had that luxury! When I said upside down, I meant physically flipping the paper upside down before we pasted it! And we had to make our own paper, too!
Sure. Say you want to do the following calculation on (1) an HP 48G calc, and (2) a TI-8x calc:
(3+4)^2 + (9-2)^2 + 7
On a TI, You enter: {,3,+,4,),^,2,+,(,9,-,2,),^,2,+,7,[Enter] ---- -18 keys.-----
On a HP calc, you could enter: 3,[space],4,+,2,^,9,[space],2,-,2,^,7,+ - ----14 keys.-----
Of course, magnify this in a larger problem and you can see that it is a bit quicker. It doesn't matter really, but I prefer RPN because it follows more how I think.
I doubt they make that much... Every college I have seen pays their computer people nearly nothing compared to the real world, because labor is so cheap with all the students to choose from (especially at MIT). Colleges pay very poorly for almost every position, actually.
There is simply an abundence of adequate people, so a large supply decreases demand, and hence the wages.
In my day, we didn't have ampersands. We had to print out the letter S, cut it out, paste it upside-down, and draw a line through it to speed up those damn atoms. And even then, it only worked on Tuesdays. You have it lucky, I'll tell you.
Your phone, while being really thin, is not what I condider "small". I looked at one in the store and liked the thinness of it, but the form was too large. I think it very well may be the smallest phone in volume, but I would rather have a thicker phone that is shorter, just personal choice.
I passed up on that one and got the LG5350, mainly just because I prefer flip phones (clamshell design) for comfort, and I prefer phone holsters rather than in my pocket or something.
Actually, if a ride isn't safe, we CAN let the free markey run its course. People would have no issues with filing lawsuits and such to either shut the park down or modify the ride.
Acutally, the lining is just on the "skin side" of the pands. The clothing side that faces the world doesn't have the lining, so it shouldn't block signals more than normal clothing.
I always go in to the bathroom before I snort, but that kind of depends on where you are. Basically anywhere where no one will see you snorting is good, and if you use a rolled up dollar bill, I would hide that as well.
You forgot about the rule that states something like if you say "I know I will be modded down to eternity for this, but..." you will actually get modded up.
So to you, you only agree with a comment if you agree with the sig? If I didn't have a sig, then what would you do? Be forced to make your own opinion?
I think IT type of jobs will just adapt. Instead of being the one watching the servers, you will train to become the one who sets up the server to watch themselves, etc.
It's really no different than the cotton gin automating cotton production: those workers that become obsoleted are retrained to enter the workforce with new skills. It is a continous cycle where those who are obsoleted learn new skills to get new jobs.
That's why our unemployment rate is usually fairly steady (between 3% and 8% almost always) - jobs are always being elimintated and jobs are always being created. In different sectors, maybe, but that isn't necessarily a bad thing.
