  1. Re:bad idea on Could Cops Use Google As Pre-Cogs? · · Score: 4, Insightful

What reasons could there be to legitimately do these kinds of searches is none of you damn business.

I search stuff I want to know all the time. I've searched some horrible, horrible things but never wanted to do them. This is ridiculous and should never be used. But of course, it will eventually. It had already been mentioned that searched using the word torrent would one day be seen as suspicious and possibly prosecuted.

I enjoyed webos when I didn't know better. I really liked it. but I've tasted Android, and that's all over. WebOS is a really nice second-tier OS for those who don't want ios or android. It's great.

I have yet to see that argument work in real life, but the opposite has (monopoly has increased price and/or reduced service) .

Cable tv, air travel, healthcare, etc. Music went down in price, because the music companies got spanked in court. There must be a basis in fact for that argument to be repeated so much, and I'd like to hear it.

Because consoles are leading gaming now. There will be those few PC games I care enough about to have the right hardware for, but when a game is available on both platforms, I'll get the console version first.

I know the Wii made Nintendo several dozen fuckjloads of money, but they won't get a penny from me if they continue to focus on first-party rehashes of their old franchises. Which is exactly what it looks like they're doing.

  11. Welp, looks like xbox pulled ahead in this one. Now if I can somehow purchase and play used games on it, we'll have a winner. I refuse to purchase a console where I can't play a damn used game. I'll leave consoles before doing that.

Same here. I'm at my desk at work, so I'm plugged in all day. I'd normally get about 12 hours with light use, but I actually use the hell out of my phone, so 6 hours and I'd be dead.

I don't have a problem with it. I'm using so sure the battery is going to drain. I leave everything turned on and full brightness.
