    Very similar to the Prodigi, but this has more features. I wonder how they compare on format handling.

    I swear by the "Prodigi pd-100n hd multimedia player" (google that) but I definitely want to do an XBMC box, maybe on an r-pi, maybe not. The Prodigi is great. Streams from samba shares, plays anything you throw at it, turns a usb drive into a NAS. It lacks XBMC's pretty interfaces though. I'm buying another Prodigi and TV for my wife to watch Tyler Perry on. Heh.

    WebOS is easy to use, but that doesn't make it something that people actually want to use. Once people get higher-end hardware with Android or IOS, WebOS seems like an underpowered memory. I'd like to see it on a device that tries to compete with the big boys so we can make a better comparison.

    Greater display resolution is pointless. You can not even appreciate the difference between standard definition and HD on a 42" screen unless you are closer than about 6 feet, assuming 20/20 vision.

    Where did this startling factoid come from? Especially since I have a 37" in my bedroom and the resolution difference is very noticeable.
