    it happened on the internet that is in pakistan. the original law was intended not to stop people from making the drawings, but to stop people from seeing them... and people saw them in pakistan... so their law was broken.

    i have no problem up to this point.... where the ignorant hypocrites come in is in response to pakistans response. you incited them to do what they claimed they would do and what their laws dictate them to do, and then when they do it, you cry foul. you can't hide behind free speech forever.

    this isn't about putting in your own userid in a query like "UPDATE users SET group = admin WHERE user_id = X"... this is about putting something like "5; DELETE FROM users" in as a userid.

    SQL is one giant string command, even though it is inherently dealing with variables that are also strings. most people that utilize SQL realize this and also utilize a variable parametrization layer on top of SQL... when user input is involved, the variable string should never coexist with the command string. that is the inherent flaw of SQL that was exploited.

    golden rectangle ~16.18:10... my projector is 16:10 native which i found weird because almost nothing supports 16:10... the projector does allow 16:9 sources to use the extra space for keystone correction, so perhaps that was the only intention. my top shelf video card doesn't support any 16:10 formats.

    i do like that one company is foresighted enough to take a chance on nature's proven solution to optimal ratio.

    Go look at all the embedded devices that run some flavor of linux on some flavor of arm.

    ARM = hardware. we are talking SOFTWARE.

    and what differentiates those devices from each other? could they run better (execute faster, use less resources/battery) with a custom solution? ALWAYS. you can't deny that. if you're happy with shit, EAT UP. my palette is a little more discerning. i'm sick of you lazy engineers and your excuses.
