Honestly, as much fun as the original was, I will buy the new one regardless of whether I download the pirate version or not.

Good games are worth what they cost, as long as they didn't totally screw the pooch, they already have MY money.

I'm totally with you on this one, either way I will be buying this game. One of the few reasons, actually the only reason I will be running w7 at home for the next 6 months will be to play crysis 2. But yeh we probably are a minority :'(

Yep, you are right, not suggesting i would switch places. Although I do entertain the thought of China expanding over to oz and fixing up our infrastructure.

Hardly a nanny state, I have family over their and paradoxically its less (in some ways) of a nanny state than Australia, the way they can let fireworks off in the street is only one example, their OHS rules or lack their of is another. So who's the nanny state?

I think tweets can help people learn to be more concise in their writing, but the benefits are greater if they don't use the usual 'texting' abbreviations. It's a great mental excercise to see if you can get the same thought across in fewer words or characters, or just more clearly Based on the number of mistakes with "then/than", "lose/loose", etc, I see from younger journalists and bloggers, I think spelling in general is getting worse, not better. I find it somewhat jarring when I actually see "lose" used properly.

I spent a good 6 months with a broken phone where only a handful of the keys worked texting my gf lovey-dovey sms's using a plethora of symbols and abbreviations. Was great fun using my imagination and her having to decrypt the sms. Not it was not just (.)(.) Unfortunately I was not gave at the time to do so.
