Military justice is one of the very few examples of law which has extra territorial effect. This is a common feature in the military justice system in all countries. However soemtimes where a law has been breached on the soil of a host nation, service members might be subject to the laws of that host nation. It depends if there is an 'agreement' withthat host or not.
Extra territorial effect is required becauce commanders need a tool to keep their members disciplined and obedient to the chain of command at all times. I know this because I am currently studying military law
If you want something authoratative, then try Oxford University's Oxford guide to style or the United States Government Printing Office's Style Manual 2000. The USGPO Sylem Manual is available online in PDF fomat here. Look at Chapter 8, units 8.3 through to 8.22 on apostrophe usage.
Well I guess that answers my specific question as I use UltraVNC. Still it might be useful to know the answer. Whenever see VNC, I think the whole system, not individual clients so yeah story summary was a little misleading.
Dr Aki Ross's watch from Final Fantasy: The spirits within. I ordered one as soon as I heard about them. It doesn't come with the doctor or the holographic stuff, but it sure is a conversation piece.
I presumed this programmer was American and though "why is he driving on the left?". Then I noticed all (baar one) of his turns were left and figured he was driving on an oval.
If slagging off old games is a new trend, then I am waiting for Hideo Kojima to apologise for Metal Gear Solid 2 Sons of Liberty. Okay, the tanker part was foine (but too short), but the oil platform? WTF?
I have slight tinnitis. Most of the times it doesn't bother me unless I become conscious to it. Occassionally, when it is 'silent' I can still hear this high pitched continuous noise in my ears and is especially irritating at night when I try to sleep. This is where my computer comes in. The droning fans are loud enough for me to ignore the rinning in my ears and ease me to sleep.
Not that I am aware of. I'd be shitted if it does. I email Gigabyte support and basically they told me I was SOL so I took my box into the local computer store and got a new mobo installed. I still can't get over how featureless my new motherboard is. The only noel thing about it for me is the gigabit lan, which doesn't really help me at all.
I just toasted my Gigabyte GA-8IK1100 by flashing BOTH BIOSes. When I flashed the main BIOS it, seemed to work so I flashed the backup BIOS as well but on reboot, nothing happened, not even the video BIOS would show.
Perhaps I was just a dick with the motherboard. I guess the lesson learnt is even for dual BIOS motherboards, flash ONLY EVER UPGRADE ONE BIOS and just keep the upgrade for rainy days.
What a damn shame, although it was the entry level 875P motherboard from their range, it was more bang for your buck than the crappy Asus P4P800 SE I got last week.
The 'Spoony Bard" reference makes return in Final Fantasy XI in one of the San d'Oria Quests. In the quest, you have to catch an Elvaan thief. If you talk to one of the guards at the West Gate(?) he'll make that reference.
I believe the best Soviet Russia joke was one made sometime last year and was something like this: In Soviet Russia, you eat cannibals, uh i mean in Soviet Russia, cannibals eat you...ugh, forget about it
they write So some wise guy thought that the content on this site was slashdot worthy, submitted us, yet in the two stories posted linking to InventGeek. Did the site maintainer genuinely NOT submit the articles or is he just speaking inthe third person?
Does anyone want to believe Titor's prediction of China forcibly annexing the Koreas, Japan and Taiwan?
You could have tried the external links at the end of the page.

I have a obsessive compulsive disorder over germs (you insensitive clod).
So are you a doctor then?

I run VNC between two computers over a MAC filtered (yeah yeah I know...) and encrypted wireless connection, should I be (less) worried at all?

All my dreams are either way psychedelic, or of killing people or of having sex. There is no way these are going to help me make workplace decisions!
Both the English version of WinNY and Share can be downloaded here. I found this link from Wikipedia.
But I think Stallman might rather like Stalinix. Where this thread goes form here, only Godwin knows.

Bring back QUICKIES!!!
This is the first quickies I have seen for years.
screw the Light Sabre, I want Gudnam's Beam Sabre, now that would have the equivalent costof several fully eqipped Rolls Royces

I think you need to visit 2ch to see some really whacky falsh movies. Of course, this made me laugh more than AYB ever did.
