    Finally! It took a while but now I can change my ambient bakcground music at home from whale singing to static stomach cramp noises! It is even better than those tree hugging hippie crap rain forest cds! I haven't heard such a nice sound since my old AM radio died a decade ago... I wonder if it will make it to Hit #1 though?!

    I agree, although on the other hand you don't need to transport the 10 gallons of water from the other end of the world. (But it would also mean that some oil companies would loose profit). And since I used to leave in the bush for a short while, I can say the 10 gallon of water is more likely around half a gallon.

    Personally, I'd assume that any Facebook pages saying "join with us in the glorious people's armed revolution" were set up by the government to catch particularly stupid people.

    I think that you are underestimating mankind's stupidity.

    I mean, unless I'm wrong and some countries have recently decided to solve all their international conflicts or internal elections by counting the number of facebook fans they have.

    Hungary is a good example of that. A contraversial media law which can be used to curtail freedom of speech was passed by the government recently. An FB page was setup by those who are against it. In response the government setup its own page for the supporters of the law. The government is determined to have more fans of the page. And it seems that the government truly believes that if they get more FB fans then the law is justified.

    No offence but that scenario would never happen in AU. Good efforts will be made to rebuild, just as they have been in every previous disaster (Australia is pretty accustomed to major floods, cyclones and fires).

    I do understand why someone wants to use FreeBSD instead of Linux. My question is, why use FreeBSD (or Linux for that matter) on a gameconsole?

    I use VMWare Workstation for much of each day to run MS Office Apps, and it's very useful - but no VM performs well graphically.

    I agree. If you want to run Lightroom and Photoshop properly, then go native.

    At the moment ISPs aren't in the EU, I am aware of that. What I was trying to suggest here is that as soon as ACTA is implemented, ISPs could be held at court by the above rule. But as I said IANAL hence I was just popping a question rather then stating a fact.

    IANAL but doesn't that basically says that if you're an ISP and you let, for example torrent activity happen on your netwok, then you can also be held responsible and made to cough up some dough? Most

    It doesn't matter how and/or whether it works. The point of the whole excersize is that if anybody is going to figure out and implement it, the brave is going to have Apple's lawyers breathing down his neck for patent infringement.

    Production costs are $15M. 5000 downloaders @ $2900 a head is £14.5M. Leaking the movie 5 months prior to its official release almost guarantees that at least 5000 people is going to download it (which might not be the case after it hit the cinemas). If worst comes to worst, the investors break even. Whoever came up with the idea deserves an award!
