RPN was superior when calculators had a 10 digit display. However, modern calculators are really personal computers. A TI-92 has more memory and a faster processor then the original mac. Plus they have a fairly sophisticated CAS. The ability to see the text laid out as you would write it down makes regular notation superior IMHO.
