I can agree in some cases. I have seen it. But there are others, and if your interviewing someone you should take enough time to figure out what they are like. Metacognition will take you a long way, So what is your hiring process like? If you need someone to lead hire a person with leadership qualities. Ask them questions that require abstract thinking listen to them. Make sure your HR department is not letting you down. Don't be a yes man your self take charge of the situation at work. Have you made your CIO aware if the yes man problem? Who else on your team feels the same way? Good luck in your personnel quest.

I agree I am finishing up my BIT degree now. I was a HVAC tech in the army. Everything has a computer, EFI AC controls and embedded interfaces, every truck, every plane, every office. I learned the CCNA course on video so we could set up our satellite internet for our shop in Iraq. That made me more interested in computing. And I can afford to go to school full time and not work full time. I will not have huge loans when I get out of school.

Look at windows 8. Run the win 8 dev preview and you will see what I mean. The Start menu is now an app screen with grid layout buttons. It is a design for tablets more then PC's. So learning from windows might not be the best idea here. I say quit putting touch screen style layout on my PC ! "And get off my lawn !" Leave them on the phones and tablets where they belong. Unity and gnome are pretty toned down compared to win8.

The honey bee is invasive it originated in Europe and has been spread around the world by man. I did a report on this in my environmental science class in college last year. Where I live we have natural bees that do more pollination than any small collection of honey bees in hives. SCCD or Sudden colony collapse disorder when the queen leave the nest for no apparent reason is not going to affect us at all. Maybe the American Indians couldn't grow corn before the European honey bee was introduced in america. There are plenty of healthy native bees out there doing the job. But I would lie about some garbage to get scientific funding too..... The whole Idea is insane.

I agree completely. Look what happened when we deregulated the banks. Goldman sacks moved into the white house, and took many Americans homes through predatory lending. Then asked for a bail out that was shot down the first time through. Goldman sacks pushed an emergency session and scared the politicians into pushing the bill through. That is free market at its finest. Idealism has a problem it only works in an ideal world.

Google sees this and stopping it is not in the best interest of Google or its shareholders. So Google may be responsable for some click farming operations raising advertising dollars and raising the price of goods as well. Ron
