Office 97 is quite functional, but it can't load documents saved by newer versions of Office.
When I noticed this dirty trick, I started saving my own stuff in.txt files. This has proved fortuitous. I've had a few more recent iterations of Office but I pity those forced to comply with this herd shearing. YMMV
I know a few. None of them own casinos. If I hit the lotto (slim odds as I don't play) I will really clear the title on our land by the Skeena. As it is, all decisions regarding land use consider the interests of the salamander, salmon, and the Kitselas Band primary to those of my own family.
Just a few pages at a time since it will be difficult for you to understand.
I read most of that stuff very slowly, maybe its a cultural difference, but when I read eighteenth century writings I don't do more than a couple pages at a time. YMMV AFAICT the second amendment of our constitution was an impassioned attempt to keep the people free; By not having a standing, "peacetime" military, out terrorizing the globe, imposing tyranny and corruption. Cooler heads have prevailed.
They could just be training for the mass murder of civilian foreigners.
What? I think it's a lot more likely to be a crowd of American citizens on those streets, brown as they may be. I think they're training against the possibility of a democracy movement coming to this country.
I think the restrictions on open-bolt firearms pretty much defines the primary role of "gun control". I like to have weapons to defend myself against the public enemy, but have no delusions of defying my Fearless Leaders. I only had a small collection of Colt revolvers until after I spent the spring of '92 in Los Angeles. I understand it was pretty well-covered on television, I was sort of nearer than that. Next paycheck, I got a Thompson carbine. Shotguns are all very fine but some times 30 round magazines are wanted.
Don't forget that they did the same to the USSR before that. I've even heard it said that Afghanistan was costly enough to play a part in the demise of the USSR.
Osama may be dead, but he's still winning his strategic goal of bankrupting the Great Satan. If we can't outwit a dead guy maybe we deserve to lose.
go to trial because it is their right (just like they have the right to free speech and to bear arms).
Your privilege to a trial is subject to the same restrictions as your other Constitutionally guaranteed privileges. I was similarly once offered the choice of pleading guilty to a misdemeanor which never factually occurred, or spending (conviction guaranteed, per my legal counsel) five years in state prison for a felony which also did not occur. If I still had those old Criminology textbooks then I could cite the universal and pervasive nature of this type of occurrence.
If someone thinks other issues are more important than everyone's freedoms getting violated by the TSA on a daily basis, I can only conclude that they're either evil or just naive and highly unintelligent.
Loss of topsoil is only one of the issues considerably more important than your puny human "rights". It's damn hard not to confuse your differing priorities for concern and action with ignorance.
If the irradiated parts of the building weren't designed to be easily removed and replaced then they're doing it wrong. That shit is hard on the molecules.
She just has no desire to play and/or sees it as too much work. It is not fun for her at all... I am the exact opposite.
Before video games were invented, I found I was quite indifferent to the charms of pinball, foosball, and all that. Once my son started, against my advice, to play games, then I found an awful lot of enjoyment keeping him upgraded with all the latest system busses and chipsets. As I have aged, it's gotten to where cards and chess seem tedious and laborious. Lots of mutually exclusive activities in my spousal relations and I prefer that. Stone age societies have taboos to keep the women off on their own things, there's probably some reason back of it.
I enjoy Star Wars Podracer, and that's it for me. YMMV.
Surely, you jest. I am the least grown up of nearly any man I know (Well- I do know a lot of musicians), and have never taken to video games. I spent many hours of my youth watching my friends play Donkey Kong, &c. but could not do it myself. Not everyone will enjoy it.
The second amendment was designed to prevent a standing military, sapping our produce and spreading tyranny. Cooler heads have prevailed. I, for one welcome our jack-booted overlords. I used to collect Colt revolvers, I just love a fine piece of machinery. After they acquitted those fools that beat down Rodney King, I got to hang out and see some interesting things. (I happened to be reading Gibbon, and working as an un-armed security guard in the Fairfax District at the time. You would not believe the money they charged me for the Springfield M1-A and Thompson carbine I bought after that. I find Wayne LaPierre, et al, a trifle embarrassing, but I have to ask, if I can't trust you with a machine-gun then what in the fuck are you doing at large?
A quick look at the HTML site and I'd like to say it looks pretty non-soporific. Kudos. I think that may be the standard eldavojohn referred to in the summary.
It's probably worth noting that the Tea Party also did not have any widespread criminal side effects
Damn straight! I searched high and low for the usual felonious shenanigans associated with protest movements, and suddenly find none. I find it pretty fucking hard to imagine my FBI failing in their self-appointed mission of Constitutional violation as if the Tea Party was somehow exempt.
News for people who can read is different than American Network News. I have a literate bias.
Sure... of all the new media on the planet, Al Jazeera is the only one that isn't biased.
Did I say that? I did not mean to infer that AlJazeera is all that much less biased/more credible than our big networks, aside from Fox, of course. I was thinking of Reuters, actually. If you contrast the extremes: e.g. Forbes, Mother Jones; You can collate the facts and fill in the gaps. I think you are showing your bias.
They've got opinion pieces from a variety of points of view, mostly un-bigoted, cosmopolitan thought. Clearly the kind of Pinko menace that Al Gore would support.
I thought they were letting their editors chase the truth as they saw it, and since I don't speak Arabic I had no idea that their local reports were any different. I really ought to learn a bit of Arabic, Farsi, and Pashto, since so many lies are being spread around about those folks.
I use a diversity of sources, funny how all the big American networks are (un-)weighted on the slant/credibility scale. Al Jazeera is very easy to read as the CPU doesn't have to compensate for a lot of bias overhead .

I saw blue smoke way back in the 60s. I thought this research was already done.
Life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness, in that order. Democracy depends on intelligent, informed citizens.
We are so fucked.

I find your lack of familiarity with our system disturbing. It ain't justice, it just is.

Close enough for horseshoes.

Because OWS is going to change anything?
It all depends on you, man.

Yeah, they cover a lot of important stuff that gets short shrift down here.
