whats you problem with kde? activities: always wanted to start using them, but i never think of it. I have some different desktops as activities, but using activities for different working-sets of windows... never got the hang up to now startmenu: who needs a startmenu? alt-f2 or hotkey to launch a terminal and typing the command name. the rest is in the panel as quicklaunch icon.
The rest of plasma is pretty usable since 4.2 or something like this. 4.0 was crap and 4.1 was like a hotfix.
both in fullscreen AND in windowed mode the window spans over both monitors, making the game unusable. can i somehow set which resolution to be used in windowed mode or something like this?
use preseed, FAI is an outdated way to do it, and more complicated than the preseed solution. FAI is like a bundle of shellscripts while preseed is integrated with the debian installer.
you know, they work on an image? First they make an image. Then they try to break it. if the software changes the image to a clean winxp, you get into trouble until you tell them how to decrypt it the correct way. and because of the image, they have infinite tries.
and with linux you can use the scrollwheel of the mouse in windows without focus. I really miss this from windows. there you need to click into the correct area (not only the window) first, then you can scroll with the scrollwheel.
Gnome2 was not so good. Gnome3 seems to have its problems and unity is crap. Many people used KDE, especially KDE4 before and were quite happy. And Kubuntu is a good Distro.
i thought fedora releasenames are quite cool. but beefy miracle is just silly. All versions before had a nice sounding codename, and now something that silly. i wonder what they put up next, they need to have a similiarity with the previous one (the beefy miracle) there.
on the rest... yeah, kde on fedora is pretty much okay. other (more minimalistic) WMs of course, too.
for any two its of course 2^256, but now apply the birthday problem to a set of 100mb files... and the collision propability of 4 mb blocks is even higher.
the e-mail headers will give away, that its not a real bounce. Then the spammers even know "ah, this e-mail address is active, somebody thinks its worth to send fake-bounce mail"
when only using a WM without a DE, i would prefer icewm, too.

when its not supported by the tools, lets have a /var/log/syslog and a /var/log/syslog.fine-timestamps. New tools use the new file.

everyone who distributes xkcd without the title= text, needs to be punished!

why?
just use "sudo -s" / "sudo -i" instead of "su" / "su -"
you can post a status "spouse has the fb-pw by now". Too hard to do?!
mod parent troll.
Bad Luck. Facebook deletes the profile 2 weeks later, until then it can be recovered.

just like KDE 4.0.

it was, but due to a incomplete fsck.btrfs, they decided against it.

so forget it.

Seems like Mint with KDE is dead?
because being hacked has nothing to do with research.
for 33 byte files, you will have 2^8 collisions per hash. now assume we have a 100MB file ...
mutt bounce is a really cool feature missing in most other clients, but its not what op wants.
