    For many programs, malicious depends on the context, something you aren't going to get from a database.

    Valve, and it already exists. You allocate a cache for STEAM and it clears it out as new stuff is added.

    These may not be the markings, but:
    Change the order of the credits.

    Change the timings of soundtrack in various places

    Change the timing of the "reel change" mark. The presence of that mark may not click with someone used to seeing it in a movie. Not needed for DVD/VHS, but it's an easily overlooked artifact.

    Encryption is good, as long as the people using it are good. When people use encryption to hurt other people, it becomes a serious liability.

    Well, DUH, it's a tool, nothing more.

    You can say the same about cars, knives, guns and just about anything else.

    The Z80 is obsolete, as is TCP/IP.

    The Z80 is not in use except possibly in embedded. Why is IPV4, which has had a successor for several years, still in use?

    The GPL controls distribution, not use. There aren't any use restrictions (hence, no EULA) on GPL software.

    That mechanism is an excellent means to DRM. The loader only loads files signed by the OS provider and nothing more.

    Like that's stopped those spammers that trojan machines. They'll just keep going, and now add "legitimate" spam to the mix. Stuff is going to get a *lot* worse
