Anyone here remember an old phone phreaker toy that would send a zap down a phone line to cook a modem or a phone and break some FCC laws at the same time? heh I remember them being nicknamed "Piss Boxes", but they may have had a more proper name. This is like a network Piss Box. heh
Yeah, I upgraded my HDD in my PS4 to a 2TB drive on day one. 500GB just didn't sound impressive considering that everything does a full install. Heck, my PS3 even has a 1TB drive.
Can anyone explain why they insisted on using 2,5" drives in both consoles? It seems like they could have shipped with 1tb for the same price if they'd used 3.5" drives. It's not like a few extra cubic inches of volume would have made people walk away from the deal.
Simple answer... size and heat. Everyone wants to produce the smallest console that also doesn't burst into flames.
I am far from defending this dopey teacher, but there is a chance he was at least careful enough to not fly it over areas where people were. It did say that it crashed into a section of empty seats. Not sure he entirely deserves it, but we could give him the benefit of the doubt that he had at least a bit of common sense in his flight of stupidity. I want to believe that there was a nugget of smart in there.
I remember the COBOL guys got a lot of extra work when banks and other companies were preparing for Y2K. I think they had to import people from Russia, since there was a shortage of people in the U.S. who knew the language well enough.
True... I had a Pascal class in high school... it used to be fairly common to teach with once upon.
I still remember my teacher talking about a "Waloop" and I couldn't figure out what the heck that was. (I should note that I wasn't alone with this confusion in class.) Then it hit me that she was talking about a "WHILE LOOP"! D'oh! lol She had a wacky accent.

What do we call this now? Is it white hat malware?
I sure hope they find some serious advancements in this before that guy gets his head transplant in 2017, which was announced just the other day.
Do I get any credit for watching Pewdiepie play the various Five Nights at Freddy's games? I'm going to go demand a raise.
Fear the Tor! "TOR SMASH!!!"
Yeah... maybe I recently watched Plan 9. heh
Yeah, well Nat. Geo. TV is no gem.
It's not as bad as "History Channel".
Ah... another channel I lament the loss of. It used to be a great channel to watch. Those were the days... Boy, the way Glenn Miller played...
Uhh, if you read TFS, you'd see Murdoch basically helped *create* Nat Geo TV.
So, yeah, we know it's bad. The concern here is now he's going to mess up all their other properties too.
Bingo! If those TV shows are anything to go by, the magazine is doomed.
Yeah, it doesn't help that I am one that likes to leave everything installed too. I guess I may have to break that rule down the line. heh
I also subscribe to the magazine, and have enjoyed it for decades. Definitely not happy with this news. :-(
How the fuck is angry birds 1.8gb??
That's like 30% of vanilla skyrim.
Not to mention, it retails for $39.99 (on disc), which leads me to think they are smoking crack.

Oompa Loompa, mofo!
Quick! Someone match up this data with the Ashley Madison data to find out what correlates.

Do they sell the new BB-8 toy or the Millennium Falcon drone? That's all I give a shit about.
I gots the nerd sweats! MUST.... HAVE!!!
Ah... and me without points to give out today. :-) That one brought a smile to my face.
I know... it was more of a stab at Sony for some of their other electronic items that do use proprietary memory.
And does it use overpriced propriety Sony memory cards? Ah... I so love that with most of their devices.
Up Next! Too much food can make you fat! Stay tuned.
Fighting the frizzies at 11.
HA! :-) At least I wasn't alone with something goofy like that.
And here's why.
Hey... that's a different kind of coding. ;-)

I haven't programmed in Pascal in ages, but I do only really have fond memories of it. It was nice and slick. Very easy to read and write in.
