    Actually GNUSTEP as a project works like that: FOSDEM - New Work done - SILENCE - FOSDEM - New Work Done - ... And everyone thinks: Well, why don't they go after Mac OS X emulation as a "vision" because otherwise the project lacks a good mission that inspires new contributions. Actually I thought it for the past 10 years but it always interesting to see how they start off after the annual FOSDEM meeting.

    I think that Wine would be needed anyway. It is still a migration barrier. I enjoy how many old application work with Wine in the meantime. Money means more developers which speeds things up.

    Imagine an investment of 500 Million into Libreoffice development. Imagine 50 Million for Wine. That would make a real difference. The patent system is like a parasitarian economy created on top of the markets. It should be abolished. But we won't get 5 million $ for patent reformists.

    There is a difference between an embargo of a nation and civilian casualties as a consequence of cutting external supply, a bomb raid and collateral damages, and actually targeting non-combattants in a bombine. You are expected to play by the rules of a combat, that is combattant against combattant.

    Essentially rights are about coersion. The right to property is a right to exclude others. The right of free speech is a right where the state protects you against the fist of other members of society.

    When in war you have to play by the rules of combat. Everything else is mass murder targetting non-combattants. There is nothing wrong about soldiers killing each other. But there is something wrong about murder of civilians, even "repressions" (customary revenge actions under an occupation) heavily fire back.

A building is like a victory march, and the arc is a reference to the old Roman Titus Arc.     Continental Europe has author's right, not copyright. Authors rights are a devine right of authors. In fact the Berne Convention which sets the international standard takes the same view, even if the anglosaxon world (UK&US&...) don't get what they signed up to.

According to Apple CEO Tim Cook new sweat shops would be build in the US which assemble the iPoop prefap pieces from China, put the iPoops in little boxes and add "manufactured in the US" stickers. Also the factories organise dancing contests of inmates to be distributed exclusively over iToons video store for royalty-free downloads.
