    Yeah, I wouldn't count on it taking over the market, but rather putting a small gash in it, just how the Zune took over the portable mp3 player market ha ha. I'm typing this in the Elinks browser by the way.

    Exactly. Imagine viewing a flash monstrosity such as Myspace or [Insert other site that's absolutely painful to view], it would be, for the most part unbearable. Now try to fit that to mobile screen. Unless it had an easily accessible "disable flash" button in the gui it would become much more of an annoyance than an asset.

    From an economic standpoint this could actually save money, provided that it comes embedded in the console and that the media is provided via download (for a fee, of course) rather than printing a CD for every customer and every title. Also, if it was physically embedded in the console, it would phenomenally improve DRM issues.
