Are you kidding? This has to be a joke. Qwest actually called you and offered help? I don't believe it. I've had Qwest DSL since the first month they offered and I havn't ever gotten good service from them. The only thing that keeps me with them is the quality of the connection (as in, I'm rarely down).
Oh ya, and the fix that they told you about for Code Red really isn't a "fix", but more of a work around. The real fix is to update to 2.4.1 of CBOS. But wait! Qwest doesn't support that version. Ya, thats customer service.
Apache::MP3 allows for directory listings, playlists and shuffled play. Why be a radio station? We already have thousands if not millions of these. On-demand, baby, on-demand.
And here is the link to them. This guy is right, Fat probably is one of the best indie labels out there... Although I think they are distributed by Sony (through Epitaph) but I could be wrong...
Sorry, I don't have a source to back this up but I thought that he said he would be willing to do movies... Obviously then he is going to diappear and then he will be back in the first silver screen movie after the end of the series...
How can it NOT be Mr. Campbell!? He is by far the best actor of our era. Evil Dead 1 & 2, Army of Darkness, Brisco County Jr. and so on. A god among men I tell you, a god among men!
What fuckin' luck... I'm moving and USWorst won't have my damn DSL moved until the 17th. Anyone know how successful a lawsuite for depriving me of Diablo 2 for two weeks would be? What would I sue for? Emotional damage?
Look, it is like this. If I drive friend to the store to purchase a magazine you could say I linked him to it. Now, say the owner of the store is up to something illegal. Does that make my friend liable for it just because he bought something at that store, even if what he bought from the store was legit? No it doesn't, its that simple. Now if I was a "hook up" for my friend to buy something illegal from the store clerk then yes, my friend would be in trouble.
I read the entire article and couldn't find one mention of banning file sharing! Did anyone at slashdot even read the article? What they do discuss is monitoring programs that allocate bandwidth, hardly the same thing.
Man, I don't know what your using but I have a Yamaha IDE 8x sitting on carpet and I do jumping jacks next to it without a problem. My old HP couldn't do that, but thats one of the many reasons I didn't buy another HP.
Obviously we don't need government interference (especially not tracking everyone's moves across the net). If government is the solution to problems like this why didn't the FBI find it? Fact is, they didn't. It was found by a private company who informed the DOJ. Lets get real here, do you really trust your leaders and bureaucrats enough to let the know your every move on the net. Man, not start a flame war but your the one that is pathetic. If you don't like the subject why the hell are you wasting YOUR time reading it? And why the hell are you wasting my time (and bandwidth, as trivial as it is) bitching about it?
Is it just me or does Square start 90% of their movies (in-game or on big screen) with a close up of an eye?
Turn off the computer and back away! You processor is WAY to hot, better rethink your cooling.
My Athlon 1.33Ghz only gets up to 48C when maxed out playing games or calculating prime numbers!

What Microsoft page are you looking at? It doesn't seem to be www.microsoft.com or update.microsoft.com because I can't find SP2 on either.
If one doesn't have the understanding to let people learn by trying, they probably should keep quiet.

Well damn. That kinda make Fat Mike a hypocrite doesn't it. What with the "Dinosaurs Will Die" stuff and all.

Where did you get a 400 baud modem?! Mine was a wimpy 300 compared to that!

We are consumers.
Well, if nothing else you could probably type in morse code.

Why hasn't this been moterated up as funny? Maybe its just my friday and 30 minutes to go attitude but I almost fell out of my chair!
I want a sue button!
Ah, mediocre troll at best. Really, this could have been executed much better. Take some lessons from Grandpa Simpson and try again later.

Its about time they wired the dolphins. Although, I think at 2400 baud we won't see a lot a media rich content being developed by them any time soon.
Theater of Magic. nuff said.

Man, I can't believe how many Sonic Foundry loops I heard in just the first minute...

Has anyone had any success getting SlashApp to run? It always gives me a "Cannot parse XML, net connection down?" error...
