How about putting a click through license on the p2p's that makes it illegal for the RI/MPAA to connect to any p2p. Or anyone looking to give/sell information to the MPAA/RIAA, in addition to any law enforcement officials. That way when they have any information in court, they can be sued as well for breaking the click through license.
What about the Qmail-Toaster with the horde calendar feature added in? I mean I know this isn't a full MS Outlook solution, but it seems to handle the needs, plus it's very good about handling many things graphically like e-mail robots and is nicely packaged for most distro's.
I sure do, it's easier when you have to update many servers to set up a local rpm site and have all servers update. The main thing is to roll your own Apache rpm. which is not too hard
There are tons of libraries available for free, everything from GNU's awesome libc, to libpcap, to libpng are available in most distro's. If you need a library that isn't included in your distro, just download and compile. That usually works.
Redhat was getting a bunch of people demanding support after purchasing the cheapbytes version. They still allow people to make their own distro and sell em, just not call it redhat. But I think you're right, RH was a bad example...but the rest of my post was still correct.
It didn't work the first time around, that's why we got this problem now!

The parent post had stated that it took two days to install, not two days to install and lock down and configure. Even then two days is still a lil Jr. Admin-ish. And as for removing the crap RH put in, why not run with a more minimal distro to begin with or perhaps OpenBSD.

Didn't Han Solo take care of this guy in the cantina?
Oh come on, I know Soviet Russia is pretty backwards, but even there they must be using CardBus by now.
In keeping with Microsoft's naming conventions, shouldn't it be
"Linux.ORG Server"
"Apple.COM OS X Server"
"FreeBSD.EDU Server"
"Microsoft.NET Server"
See the difference!
Hehe, just nitpicking, sorry. You still a funny mofucka!
186,000 Miles Per Second or 300,000 Kilometers Per Second, take your pick.
You must mean The Coyote & Roadrunner!

Exactly, that is why no one can *cough* sell linux besides Linus himself.
Seriously, Linux is not restricted. I can buy a box of RedHat at a store and make as many copies, sell em if I want and still be within my rights.
Try doing this with XP and see what happens when you try to activate it the second time around, or third, etc.
That is the exact type of behavior M$ doesn't want people to be able to do. Prevents them from cashing in multiple times.
I always thought it went "You can pick your boogers and you can pick your friends, but you can't wipe your friends on your sleeve!"
Just enable XP's firewalling or disable the messenging service in Start/Settings/Control Panel/Administrative Tools/Services and disable Messenger.

Looks like someone did a full install of emacs
How about you put up a sign called Engineering and have everyone refer to you as Scotty!
Ironically enough... In Soviet Russia all your base are still belong to us!
I personally think a Linux kernel with the OpenBSD userland would be the best thing ever.
IBM has a cluster VM just for this occasion.
Repeat after me, Seattle is not hell!
However Redmond and it's Microminions...
