I am kindo into this myself, and it bothers me. Because I am still on school :(
I get up way to early(6), if i awake an hour later (7.00+) then i am dead tired and barely able to get out of bed. I also fall asleep late at night(23-24), going to bed earlier don't produce proper results since it will take forever to fall asleep. When on LAN parties and anything over a night i get really awake after 1-2AM. Heck Its easier to get up 6 AM with barely any sleep in contrast to 12 when i have slept over 12 hours :(
I am starting to feel a bit desprerat, because spring and exams for the year is coming sooner or later. And yes my grades are feeling it.

The real issue is not the dubbing, but that the cast sucks. The typical result of about anything re-dubbed: *Half of cast is porn actors *The pick the wrong people for epic shouting scenes *There will be less amount of puns and meanings *Might be translated wrong *And to few voices, I swear that a few shows i have watched was the same 5 people as in the last show............... and there is even too few voices compared to characters On the top of that: *Makre......... I.E: One Pice 4kidz dub *Cencoring....... making people cousins *Random redrawing, ex chaning a piece of something into a sandwich........ *Etc So it lacks effort, voicing and is cencored............ Why would i want to watch this crap? PS: There are exceptions, some swedish dubs are good, the english dub of Full Metal Alchemist works, and more :P

  7. Re:Make it turn the volume up on How Do You Get Users To Read Error Messages? · · Score: 5, Insightful

It does not work that way, NEVER! BECAUSE all damn apps are just random hex dumps of errors. When i started using Linux i was in for a major surprise: No annoying random popups, and all apps would actually GIVE me actual errors such as "can't find libPORN.h" or "Does not have acces", or similar. The point is that Windows users by default have seen to many popups, and too many of the errors where JUST a gigantic bunch of a hex dump without any real message. Now, instead of trying to get the people to read it, get a underlaying system to Email you the errors instead. Because you shall NEVER bother the end users unless its a good thing.

What conversion? If you write an app in C++, it RUNS on anything with a compiler. Now, if you use bad compilers such as MS one there will even be trouble with compiling it on other platforms. I.E: gcc and llvm compitable means it will compile for anything those 2 can compile for(litteraly about anything). You never plan for it, instead you do the code properly the first time. What to not do: overdone amount of assembly(needs to be changed), compiled against binary blobs(needs to be ported), using weird libaries, ineffective coding, using a weird compiler, etc.
