    Religion requires all pleasure be obtained by suffering to amuse Imaginary Friends, so pleasure and sex must be rationed to redirect energy elsewhere.

    Many Americans are superstitionists, and be they Taliban or Christian Taliban, they object to sin. Since life has no purpose except to get to Paradise, it doesn't matter how much damage the War On Some Drugs inflicts. The purpose of life is war on sin.

    Trikes are registered as motorcycles in the US in the same way as a conventional MC with a side car.

    They aren't serious transportation. They are fun, but don't have the AGILITY of a two-wheeler or the STABILITY of a four-wheeler (wheels under each corner come in handy).

    This isn't a blow against practical EVs, it's just one less toy. Since trikes don't have to meet crash standards, it was an understandable workaround....that's been done before....but makes it a toy.

    It took far more than that to build the facility and supporting infrastructure.

    Construction workers, welders, electricians, etc don't stay onsite after their work is done, but those are real "jobs" some of which pay very well.

    When I arrived at Sembach AB in 1981, the Luftwaffe officer speaking during newcomers orientation spoke English flawlessly and much more clearly than the American who preceded him.

    US primary education is shit because the public LIKE it that way so they won't feel threatened by their offspring turning out more capable than they are. Forget the charges of manipulation by the elites who supposedly want an ignorant public. The PUBLIC want to be ignorant.
    Ignorance is COMFORTABLE. See "religion".

    Pre-computer security was an "air gap" (often reinforced with guards and alarms etc) between valuable systems and potential attackers.

    Continental and Bridgestone and other FOREIGN manufacturers bringing manufacturing to the US to the tune of thousands of jobs and hundreds of millions of dollars invested. BMW make cars in the US and sell them in MAINLAND CHINA. Caterpillar has massive export sales.

    Tiny (compared to the US and China) GERMANY is the WORLDS SECOND LARGEST EXPORTER.

    Hello, that's with high wages, UNIONS, socialized medical care, and Autobahns as contrasted with US practice. They also have more sexual freedom, real beer, and much less superstition/religion.

    Equating ALL superstition with crazy is reasonable since there is zero logical defense for the belief in Sky Fairies. Islam has the most CURRENT violent loons. We are here now and past history is past.

    Equating Islam with extremely REPRESSIVE SOCIETIES is perfectly reasonable.

    NO Muslim society offers the degree of secularity and sexual/personal freedom I require. I've seen the wealthiest Muslim societies on a friendly basis, and oppose Islam as I would any other toxic POLITICAL (religion is superstitious politics) ideology.

    It's time to treat superstition with scorn, not respect. Only truth merits respect, not superstition be it Christianity, Islam, or some witch doctor with a bone through his nose.
