Attacking enemy troops on the global field of battle has zilch to do with my liberty.
Now that Ron Paul demonstrated he doesn't know the difference between the Law of Armed Conflict and civil policing I'll be sure to bring up this example often!!
The people aren't actually "worried" because they object to the war itself, and they aren't interested in the difference between military combat and civil policing.
No one seriously argues that Awlaki wasn't an enemy actor, therefore there is zero logical argument against killing him. His citizenship couldn't be less relevant because the rules of WAR apply in WAR.
He was an active member of a hostile force.
He demonstrated hostile intent.
Attacking him was a "necessity" because there was no other way to interdict his activities.
Force used was "proportional" because it was sufficient to decisively counter a hostile act or hostile intent, but reasonable in intensity, duration and magnitude.
ENOUGH wth the drill bullshit and messy high-effort drive destruction methods.
I have all the options from 570 amp stick welder to shotgun. I use a hammer.
Just wear a face shield or safety glasses and give 'em a HARD whack with a large hammer to drive the case into the platters. They stay contained. the case is visibly deformed, problem solved.
HDs are trivially cheap. It's easy to verify destruction, and a quick shot with a hammer will smash the platters without even bothering with a punch. Deform the case into them. Large ball pein for teh win.
"There is little doubt that my proposal would increase software quality and computer security in the long run, which is exactly what the current situation calls for."
It certainly gives more intellectual freedom than superstition. Modern man know religion is utter nonsense, yet it is such AFFIRMING, SEDUCTIVE nonsense even some "scientists" don't denounce it.
"So, Constitutionally when a cop sees a person threatening the life of another the officers is not permitted too use deadly force to stop the act?"
Many Slashdotters object to that too, because all cops are pigs and all sweet, sweet civilians are victims.

Your choice to equate asymmetric WARFARE with "organized crime" is amusing.
The US didn't attack "Yemen", it attacked enemy personnel IN Yemen.
The people aren't actually "worried" because they object to the war itself, and they aren't interested in the difference between military combat and civil policing.
They are simply being deliberately contrarian.
In War there is no requirement to try every enemy soldier before opening fire.

"Not having mail client is actually one of my major reason in adopting firefox, and abandoning netscape"
I don't USE the mail client, so it poses no penalty.
"If something is mainstream, they start hating it to make themselves appear to have more sophisticated tastes."
That of course doesn't exclude mainstream suckage.
Snuff the binaries groups and improve Usenet. It will still be spammy though.
Damage the controller cards and throw the drives out with your nastiest kitchen debris.

The customer can "see" their data is destroyed.
Clearly we should not do war research because there is no payoff.
Likewise we should boycott its products, so GTFO the internet.
"OTOH why Department of Justice/antitrust regularities cannot look into deals like this?"
I thought Tan Jesus was going to change things. Oh, wait, he's actually Beige Bush III.

Nice troll too.

The plural of "anecdote" is not "data".
"are the guys advocating abstinence trolls, serious or just ones who cant get any?'
The three are not mutually exclusive.

"Pterodactyl 21, we have hostile Triceratops fording the river.
Request trebuchet fire on both banks, urgent!" (runs)
As long as people are willing to trump all other methods with force, only force remains to deal with them.
Force trumps all and cares not a whit what you like.
A serious effort can simply produce tape and seals, even hologram and barcode style. Election stealing is big money.
Don't have too much faith in "tape and tags".
"Doesnt Apple allready practice this? Where was the uproar and outrage then?"
Safely contained by the RDF.
Enjoy the warmth of your fellow Firefanbois. You didn't counter my contention.
Opera is fast. Opera is stable. Opera is light. FF are not interested in the enterprise or their management would DEMONSTRATE such interest.
Have a lovely day. I'm off to wank. :P
Considering they should be media-savvy, why aren't we seeing pics from their own discreetly planted photographers?
The lamestream media are one thing, the internet another.
