I have no interest in what you are or are not interested. I was responding to the AC at the top of this thread, which may or may not be you. If you don't like it, go and start your own internet cess pit.
I don't care. I wanted them to hold a macbook event, so they can announce a retina macbook air, so I can go and buy one. I have no interest in iPhones or iPhone events.
I don't give gnat's chuff whether or not systemd is used. Whatever is used it's got to deal with the problems as they exist. I don't care if boot time was an advertised feature, it is in no way a defining feature or one that makes systemd or anything else compelling to distro makers. The compelling feature is that it can coordinate things as they come and go. This can be solved many ways and I don't think the systemd way would be how I would architect it, but my assertion remains true. Servers won't continue to be static blobs of 19" rack hardware that remains on and running 24/7. They're going to become more runtime reconfigurable, sliceable and diceable in CPU, VM, memory, network and offload capabilities.
So the dreams of admins that they can hang onto system V init and it will serve their needs for all time is just wrong.
The issues that brought systemd into existence (coordinated handling of a frequently reconfigured hardware as things are plugged in and out and connections go up and down) is not different to hardware that reconfigures frequently due to power saving, with things turning on and off. This just isn't a big issue in server chips right now, but it will be in the future as advanced power saving techniques move from mobile to desktop to server. Then the split will look silly.
I have flown in first, business and economy class. I'm not rich, but I can collect points like anyone else who travels frequently on business. I think it's safe to say the benefits of first class have nothing to do with the seats and everything to do with isolating you from others. A business class seat is plenty comfortable enough. Improving the first class seats achieves nothing. First class travelers don't go around thinking "Gee I wish the seats were a bit nicer".
Look at some Middle East airlines that have been installing what is essentially a seat in a box. Not better comfort, better isolation. That's what people will pay for.
If you travel first class international, typically there will be a separate first class lounge at the airport so you don't have to mix with the great unwashed in business class.
"The proof is in the pudding" refers to a particularly acrimonious argument between two mathematicians over dinner.
"American English is the largest group of English speakers".
But the consensus is not always right. 8-)
Nor is the writer of that comment.
Some of us walk.
Not a problem. The MTTF of a 10TB magnetic disk is probably around 10 minutes.
>Deauth frames are unencrypted management frames.
Deauth frames are unauthenticated management frames.
There. Fixed that for you.
My boss is in a different country with a 9 hour time lag.
So Miller Coupling Capacitance delay implies that bikes cycling side by side go 2X slower.
You can suggest it, but I will ignore your suggestion and carry on slacking off at work.

Please NO!. Do not bring back System 7.

Well I'm not happy they didn't announce a retina macbook air.
High pids are legal in Washington State and Colorado.
TFA implies is has nothing to do with bike lanes. The benefit comes from the improved intersection, which can happen with or without bike lanes.

It's a server chip. You'll need a server motherboard, but you can certainly buy one and use it for your computing needs.

Because there are a string of documented attacks against NFC payment systems.
I was playing Tropico 5 last night.
Coincidence? Inquiring minds want to know.
I used to work in an F1 team.
The thing I hated most was the noise.
There is no downside to Formula E racing. It's quieter. There isn't liquid fuel sloshing around. The races are shorter.
Let's just drop F1 and move over to Formula E. I might even consider going back if that happens.
Phew! At least they're not congruent.
>using sophisticated software
I wonder what that means. Is it more sophisticated than the software I use day to day? What makes it sophisticated?
What the hell is a vertical?
It's perpendicular to horizontals.
You have to pay.
