    Hey,

Just curious when you're going to acknowledge that there was a govt. in place in Afghanistan that the US/the rest of the world supported? You know the govt. that was overthrown by the Taliban in '96. Just trying to figure out when jc42 is going to admit that it was wrong and being an uninformed shithead. If you can help me out here that would be fantastic.

The press can and does go after him and with good reason. But if you think what's going on over there is as bad as the US you're fooling yourselves..

I grew up at the end of the cold war. I was in High School when the Wall came down in Germany. Even more importantly; but not given as much credit the people of Poland taking action. We don't want to end up there again. You think Iran scary????? Think again. There was REAL fear then. Russia can nuke the continental US. And a considerable amount of it. If you are in your teens or even early twenties you don't understand; you didn't have to live with it.

Putin is a old/hard line throw back. KGB. That's why we've been walking on egg shells with Russia since he came to power. For the last few years he's been taking back every freedom that the people of Russia gained. And his agenda is to go even further.

I'm calling it now and you can look back in 4 years. This is only going to get considerably worse.

    Resisting arrest

Resisting an arrest is a misdemeanor. It is also a misdemeanor to interfere with an officer while he is engaged in official duties. Resisting arrest typically comes in the form of an arrestee physically struggling with an officer as he tries to place on handcuffs, or when the arrestee struggles as he is being placed in a patrol car or jail cell.

Interfering with the duties of an officer typically occurs when a person attempts to physically restrain an officer to prevent the arrest of another, or when a person is verbally abusive or taunting an officer as he is engaged in his duties.

By the way he was being verbally abusive and taunting with his shouts of Patriot Act.

Actually - we're around the same size, slightly larger. And it's not like open source isn't being followed, it's being watched very closely. Especially after the licensing change by MS in 2001. It's just that majority rules, politics end up being heavy especially when MS is in turn one of our customers, and like the person above said - if something breaks we want it fixed, not in a couple of minutes, not after discussion on a newsgroup, but Now.

So basically what I'm saying is that vendors with good support are required. And more and more momentum is being gained, but end to end support (OS, apps, etc) is critical
