A conservative approach would be: "Since a volcano can spew more CO2 than all of the internal combustion engines ever invented, we should probably just hold back a little on end of the world talk."
Also, note the complete 180 in the "scence" area since 1975.
Nice ad hominem post. A more honest way of arguing could be to actually refute the points made in the article linked, instead of attacking them as on the Exxon-Mobil take.
One of my best friends is a linux god. However, every time I tried to get help with it, he'd say something like, "Read the man pages." Or, "You can figure it out."
Sorry. Not all of us are as good at picking it up as you were. I finally gave up on the OS for the most part. I try the new versions of SuSe and Fedora etc; but I just don't have the patience to really get into it; especially when most of my help is such a pain in the ass to get.
A Republican-controlled House Energy and Commerce subcommittee on Wednesday defeated a proposal that would have levied extensive regulations on broadband providers and forcibly prevented them from offering higher-speed video services to partners or affiliates.
By an 8-to-23 margin, the committee members rejected a Democratic-backed "Net neutrality" amendment to a current piece of telecommunications legislation. The amendment had attracted support from companies including Amazon.com, eBay, Google, Microsoft and Yahoo, and their chief executives wrote a last-minute letter to the committee on Wednesday saying such a change to the legislation was "critical."
Any time you start throwing regulations at something, you make it harder for everyone to compete. You also make it much easier for the government to start sliding in taxes here and there.
And I'm sorry but anything that those patent-happy companies want for the internet is probably NOT a good thing to begin with. Microsoft and Amazon would patent the keyboard if they could. Just because Cnet and/. toss Republican on there doesn't automatically mean it's a terrible thing that this bill went down in flames.
Don't subscribe to a political party because of a title or animal. Do your own research and come to your own conclusions.
Sure today's Greeks are not the same as the Ancient Greeks. Nevertheles I feel sad when Modern Greeks are made fun of by other peoples (including Americans).
INCLUDING AMERICANS?!?! NO WAY! NORTH OR SOUTH AMERICA OMGZ WTF?!?
Also you forgot anyone from the Rhineland area. They make fun of mondern greeks too! ^_^
It was just the SCOTUS. It's a HUGE decision and a crappy one at that, but it was also the 5 left-most judges on the court, not the entire bench, or the entire government.
Guess the evil conservatives out there aren't as crazy as we thought.
I agree with you. Like it or not, it's his brain-child. Since when does someone's own design become a product of the masses? Yes we all went to see the originals, but it's still his to do with as he pleases.
If Kubrick(sp) were alive and owned any of his movies still, he could do the same thing.
Just like Metallica creating a new version of our favorites, put to strings and horns. You expect the artists to listen to e-polls that say things like, "Nooo! Don't destroy my child-hood memories of Enter Sandman."
Get real. There's no strawmen here. Just people that live in the real world, where real people own real things. Like property, and art.

Nice ad hominem post. You could try to find flaws in the "shill's" arguments instead.

How about the fact that all of the climate change scientists were telling us the complete oposite in the 70's?

Thank the gods that amendment number two ranks higher than amendment number 4.

Dang that's so crazy! I had "Mike" from "Arizona"; but luckily he knew the same tricks as your "Roger". Reboot. Again and again.
They'll just change the acronym to something like, "X-p0wer".
Do you want your movies to come with the kickass, amped up, extreme power of AWESOME?! Look for the X-p0wer sticker!
Plus weren't there like 12-16 reasons for war?
I guess it's easier to cry "Bush Lied!" than address all of the points. Scary.

Haha. Yeah look at what happened in N.O. Dems have been in control there for 40+ years and it's a hell-hole.
I'll take advancement based on merrits, thankyouverymuch.
