Bash hasn't been updated in years (before 3.0 that is). And even 3.0 hasn't fixed many obvious bugs that still exist in it - like word wrap when you type a long line and backspace.
And why in a world of 16 million colors, can I only make a BASH PROMPT with 7 Colors?
Even some of the BBS's that I used to visit back in the 90's had more than 7 text colors!
Suprisingly (or possibly not), when people hype a product like this saying "people are going to come into this platform in a big way" it usually backfires. If this 360 isn't everything and more than consumers are expecting, word will get out quickly. I call it "viral anti-marketing" - if you predate your customers and don't meet their expectations.
Swiss now makes an Army Knife with a USB Drive on it. I'm not sure if they have one with the exact features you're looking for, but you still can't go wrong with a Swiss army knife.
EVERYBODY KNOWS that in a situation like that you steal the money and don't try to help the community! Linux will never survive! There's no money in it! See, I told you SO! There are 2 things you never do: One is fight a land war in Asia, and the other is Trust a LinuxMan with Money!
I thought that the SVG format was supposed to replace Flash. I could be mistaken, but I thought SVG was Vector based, and it could be manipulated similarly to the way SWF/Flash does.
The difference is that today, geniuses in the comic/cartoon industry can now band together using that 'internet' thing.
The results are likely to be incredible; and I for one, applaude this maneuver. It's one more step toward artistic control for the actual human beings that need to put food on their table (instead of the mega-corporations that force-feed their readers).

I'm so glad there is finally some software out there that caters to everyone! I'm very happy with my Windows 3.1, and now that Trumpet Winsock is out the Internet is finally easy to access!
Any really intelligent person will weigh all sides of an issue before making a decision.
The great ones are the ones that select the facet that is the least known, but has no good reason to be unknown; and they make it very well known - either just because, or because they can.
Intel had better have a good lure to get consumers to buy this.
Consumers aren't stupid (for the most part), and if word gets out that they should avoid this chipset, lesser consumers may just avoid Intel altogether.
I thought this post was slightly 'dorky' at first, but the poster has made a very significant point. The Republicans/Religious Right (aka, GOP) are on the offensive against science - be it Stem Cell Research, Free Speech, Separation of Church and State, Womens Choice, Integrity, or anything else widely considered "progressive".
It was obvious to us long before it was 'novel' to you.
Seriously though, I agree with your point. I can't think of how many times I've solved the worlds problems while intoxicated, only to forget it the next day. Sometimes, I even write it down on a peice of paper and the next day look at it and think, "Well duh, that's obvious".
Someday, I'm going to publish my findings.
I'm not sure what to call it yet, though. Perhaps, "The Scientific Journal" or maybe "The Weekly Reader".
But hey, I have an old Siemens Gigaset 3010 phone laying around that my children play with ('cause the 2 key was a bit broken), I wonder if I can use that one? So I did.
Why should I prepare for an operating system? That's BS. If their OS isn't suitable, that's their problem, not mine.
What's next? Will I have to take a class before I buy my new BMW? Or will I have to make sure that my garage is sufficiently prepared before I take it home?
I have some trepidation here.

This worm will certainly fail. It doesn't even try to gain access to network shares using the 'elusive' password:
"trustno1"
My idiot former roommate was a paranoid wannabe computer geek and he cherished his "cool password that I would never get because it uses numbers too".
Dolt.

Only if they're good Christian Republicans!
It's how we'll weed out the evil!
I think this is further proof that Linux/OSFS types are not successful at business.
They suffer from Ethics!

HAHAHAHA! MYUHAHAHA!
(falls over dead)
The batter has already been mixed; yet ICANN is still trying to separate the mixture into its separate parts.
It's too late. They've missed the bus. Only suckers will fall for this (they'll still make their money though, so what do they care).

Can SVG do this?
I guess that explains why Maine isn't exactly known as a business mecca.
Yeah, but at least they'll go after him _AFTER_ their girlfriends have whore'd themselves out to him; instead of prematurely - like jocks tend to do.

Mod this up please.

So THAT's the reason we still have to use these goddamned inches and feet, instead of Metric like the rest of the world.
From the article:

You're a bad, bad man.

Likewise, they don't get all the bugs and security flaws either.
I bet it's safer to browse the web with an unpatched Windows 98 / IE 4.0 than it is with the most recently patched XP and IE versions.
I don't have any empirical evidence to back this up, but I'd be willing to bet cash on it.

So they're in the planning stage now, but they expect to have it out to every home by 2007? That's less than a year and a half away.
I predict this one will be off schedule.

Sheer nonsense.
