I totally agree. I used to have trouble watching friends play Wipeout XL for Playstation. The simulated speed, all the twists and turns and the eriely calming music just started to make me dizzy. It would sometimes get to the point that I would have to close my eyes and leave the room to prevent barfing. Then I tried the game. I felt fine. Even for hours at a time. Weird, huh?
I cant wait to see this and sit there while they are rebooting the projector. "Windows has detected a GPF in module roll_the_film.dll. Please contact the manager of the theater".
I dont see the difference between posting rude comments on the web or spray painting it on a bathroom wall. You would think that posting such "graphitti" on a web site would be more acceptable then the latter because it cause no serious damage to actually property.
I couldn't agree more. God forbid someone has to take 3 seconds out of thier day sifting though jokes and BS email to save the file to thier hard drive and scan it...
Spreading a virus is illeagal, but creating one is not? If that's the case, would the virus author be able to get off totally scott free or would he be considered an accessory to spreading a virus?
But, either way you look at it, It isn't real. It's just entertainment. In Saving Private Ryan, that guys head popped like a zit, but it was just entertainment. If they attack video games, I think you have to attack ALL forms of media as well.
This is a NEW study?! And they are playing THESE games??? Of course there is an increase in violent behaviour. These test subject who participated in this study were probably under the impression that they would be playing Half Life or Soul Caliber and they got old, out of date games.... I might be a little violent too...
Weapon... Yeah, it's a weapon to frustrate the hell out of game developers. One game designer was quoted in saying that this thing is harder to program games for then Sega Saturn. And no games means no fun...
Because, that brain would try to take over and destroy the world. Like in the 50's classic horror flick The Brain That Wouldn't Die...

Then they would claim that it was music/videogames/TV's fault that he did this.
"Jailed for saying M$ sucks"? Well... You wont have to worry about that when they move to Canada. You'll have diplomatic immunity...

This is not a new virus. This thing was detected by Symantech on July 2, 1999.
Couldn't they just rent that Disney Sci-Fi flick instead of going to Austrailia to find a copy? Sheesh...
