I highly doubt it, though I'd expect them to rebrand the "Zune Marketplace" with a new name in the next 6-12 months to distance it from the failed hardware platform.

You don't get as big a return per exploit due to the much, much smaller install base, but OSX is definitely a softer target than Windows.

It's much more simple than that: Apple has never cared about security. They're not starting down the same road as Microsoft, they've always been on it. They just didn't have enough marketshare to force them to try and do something about it.

I found that as well. Using the basic strategy I would against a human opponent I came up with a near-perfect split of 33-35-31 on Novice but a pretty decisive victory on Veteran at 42-34-23.

Of course, I tend to be pretty decent at this game vs. humans so it's probably doing a pretty good job of learning how to play from people. It's just too bad that it's learning to play from run-of-the-mill RPS clowns instead of pros.

  8. doesn't seem that good to me on Can You Beat a Computer At Rock-Paper-Scissors? · · Score: 1

After 100 rounds on "Novice" I was 33-35-31. That doesn't seem like a very amazing record for a program that alleges to be able to predict what you're going to throw and beat you. I'm not exactly sure how to calculate the random odds for rock-paper-scissors, but I can't imagine that an even split like that is too far off what one would expect. So then I did 100 rounds on "Veteran" to see how it fared there, since they seem to be claiming that this will be even better at predicting what you are going to throw. I went 42-34-23. Maybe I'm just a super champ at this game, but either way I'm not impressed.

Why do you need a menu bar in a web browser? Just because you're used to it wasting your screen real estate? The first thing I do with a new Firefox install is move the address and search bars into the menu bar and edit the menus down to a single entry with the very, very few menu options I will ever need. Chrome has just taken this extra work out of the equation and put those options under a button.
