As many others I understand the willingness of the EU court to enable people a shot at loosing a certified stupid remark that's lingering on the net.
On the other hand we understand this is neigh impossible by 'just' editing the search results.
I think the comments in the EU ruling give enough leeway to the search engines to not delete (the link to) a whole article just because there's one commenter with regrets.
Next time there's a similar emergency in the States you should follow the news, there was foreign help after these incidents.
A US-made problem is that it all has to be done by US registered vessels and the US Corps of Engineers, for foreigners it's very difficult to offer equipment and personnel.
I'm not sure what rock you're living under but Malala is quite frequently in the Western European news for commenting on or attending one or other international conference on the subject of women education.
You are correct that Atyarthi is working in one country but you seem to forget (or don't know) it's the world's second most populated country and they have some horrendous problems re. women and children rights.
The award was also a sign to the people and politicians of India and Pakistan they are facing similar problems and should reconsider their hostilities.
Unless I missed she is from Africa, the Far East or the Americas, I'm pretty sure she's presently living among the same Eurasian race that brought forth her would-be killers...
What does set her attackers apart is their warped interpretation of a wide spread Semitic monotheistic religion that got polluted by ancient Middle Eastern tribalism.
The well respected guru's of my ISP agree with the other guru's that frequent the relevant newsgroup the only way to establish your line speed is to up and download from the ISP's own servers, using anything else is unreliable as it involves multiple parties that are not part of the contract you have with your ISP.
So they made available a bunch of files to play with.
In Europe there is a damn good reason for overstating efficiency, the tax on inefficient.
Like here in The Netherlands a very large number of people get a lease car via their employer and then a percentage of the car's price is added to their taxable income.
The percentage varies between 4-7 for electric and hybrid to 14-20 and even 25 for less efficient cars.
The efficiency is mainly measured as grams of CO2 per kilometre.
Offering a car in a lower percentage is hugely important for sales.
Often, that's why comparable countries have done away with the licensing scheme and pay public broadcasters from general taxation.
But for their own reasons the UK parliament has resisted such moves as they see the overriding importance of keeping the BBC free from political influence.
Yet, as a Brit you can't avoid being a taxpayer but you can most certainly avoid being a licence payer.
Sure, but you'd be a fool to use them in regular appliances, a tipical 100W bulb has an efficiency of around 1.6%, the hardened ones are quite a bit worse.
The same is true for a 40 W (50 is unusual) bulb it is up to 25% less efficient, a 100W Quarz Halogen bulb might achieve double the efficiency. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/I...
You got it!

I saw you coming :)
You mean like the common American 'Rent a Cop' who wears his government supplied uniform and weapons while off shift?
A US-made problem is that it all has to be done by US registered vessels and the US Corps of Engineers, for foreigners it's very difficult to offer equipment and personnel.
Uhh, she was in the process of undressing...

The fact you have to ask shows what lack of education has done to you.
Or download an Obama interview.

Simple animals that is.
a healthcare system where people don't go bankrupt
That a person who chose to not buy health insurance goes bankrupt when he gets sick, is hardly grounds for mandating such insurance for everyone.
Hmm yes.
Because in civil society we will pick up those unable to pay for their healthcare and thus they become a burden on society.
So I prefer a mandated health insurance where everyone pays at least part of the bill.
Like here in The Netherlands a very large number of people get a lease car via their employer and then a percentage of the car's price is added to their taxable income.

According to many the only thing that really matters is the CO2 output /distance
So commerce goes where government it lagging.
As with all large projects KDE has had it's problems but that's many years behind us, now they are the only viable full-featured DE.
If everyone ran a linux desktop, they'd be forced to learn how computing works (and doesn't work), and I'd be out a big fat sum of money.
Why?
With a Linux desktop you don't need to know more about computers than a typical Windows user yet have a safer environment.
You're behind the times, in the new Neon (KDE5) version the cashew has been replaced with a hamburger.
I don't believe you should include (these) superstitious people in the grand total of Christianity.
But for their own reasons the UK parliament has resisted such moves as they see the overriding importance of keeping the BBC free from political influence.
Yet, as a Brit you can't avoid being a taxpayer but you can most certainly avoid being a licence payer.
For me as a total but interrested outsider it looks like the closet republican Larry is took his chance to frustrate decent healthcare.
Nothing to do with taxpayers, it's licence payers that finance the Beep.
Yep, people like you need someone to think for them, like we've all moved on to X11.
On things like refrigerators we already have mandated efficiency symbols, it would be good to include vacuum cleaners in the same list.
The same is true for a 40 W (50 is unusual) bulb it is up to 25% less efficient, a 100W Quarz Halogen bulb might achieve double the efficiency.
