GCC, and GNU C are tools, nothing more. It's like if I built something with Black and Decker tools, Black and Decker could sue me for not making the thing that I created free (as in beer).

For years the GPL was being presented as being non-viral, but current events speak otherwise.

But, politics aside, to see a black man elected to the presidency of the United States is a major historic milestone that hasn't been seen since the first Apollo moon landing. It's that big, and if you think otherwise, you are a fool. Children from this point will just read about it in history books, but we saw it happen. "I can't believe you fucking morons waste your life in games like this. Listen, this is your LIFE. You need to be living with real human beings. You need to go find a girlfriend and spend time with her. You need to find happiness. Happiness is not in your online games, it is in other people."

Happiness isn't in other people. Nobody, and I mean nobody, is happy with others until they are happy with themselves.

"Do you really want to be 40 years old and look back to your 18-25 years and realize you pissed them away in fits of loneliness playing RPGs and crying yourself to sleep? I know most, if not all of you, had no real childhood or high school experiences because you were too busy being antisocial losers. Change that, now. How much greater would your life be now had you worked up the courage to talk to that one girl and go to the prom with her? Wouldn't high school have been amazing if you actually went out with friends on the weekend and saw movies? This is why you people love anime so much, because it portrays these perfect people going through high school living the lives YOU wish you could have lived back then."

Replace RPGs and gaming with other interests, and you could describe just about anybody on the face of the planet. It's not gaming, it's gluttony.

"Stop wasting your time on the Internet. Look outside and see the trees and the sun. Please. There is a world out there. There are interesting people all over. Why do you want to throw away what is left of your life playing fictional RPGs when real life is one big RPG with real consequences and relationships?"

Your talking about the big blue room with that bright, and hot, day star? Life as a big RPG is a really scary way of characterizing it. If you fail, there is permadeath. That's never worked out well for anyone involved.

My team needs to be happy, but the folks in the rest of the office do not really understand what that means for the types of personalities that exist in our department. Even though my team is tucked away in a different part of the building, we do have clients and employees come back here from time to time. "

Is the problem. What they don't understand is what IT needs in order to efficiently do their work. The first thing you need to do is kick the ass of the person that doesn't want IT STAFF to have monitors on their desks. The second thing you need to do is either kick the asses of the people that are dragging customers through your area, or find a security reason to declare the area off limits to everyone except for IT staff. An XBox isn't going to fix the problem that is fucked up management.

Because the fuckers never identify their company, or who they are. They give no information at all. So, I'm trolling for charges, any charges, against me.
