You are paying too much then. I rarely get a 10 pack unless they are free after rebate, and the 50 pack spindles i buy are at most $20 plus a $5-$10 rebate.
"You find a lot of lottery tickets in repossessed cars," he says. "It's their last hope."
so thats what drives people to play lottery.. i just thought it was ignorance..
Did you notice the story from msnbc didn't mention him repo'ing from any MS employees?
. Is there a law against having a clause like that?
I think so, something to do with illegal agreements are unenforceable or something.. I think each form of govt reserves the right to overrule anything beneath it..
Since when has CTS been genetic? As far as I know almost anyone can get it given enough repetitive exercise which affects that area. Thats why so many CS people get it. Keyboards aren't really designed with your CT in mind. I suppose you can have a genetic predisposition to getting it but if its a job thats likely to cause, even those without a genetic predisposition will eventually get it. Businesses should look at the way their equipment works and adjust that instead of trying to genetically test potental employees, which is probably more costly than changeing some equipment in the longer run.
They should.. its more stable on a laptop and actually has business applications written for it. Thats just a fact.. just because you can put linux on a laptop doesnt mean itll work well or that you can get anything done.
RTF == rich text format.. kind of like a generic txt file but it is able to store some basic formating options that just about any program can understand/edit/save back in that format.
Yes but you have to reboot the laptop every time you do something useful
Some of us can do something useful in win2k and learn how to use an OS before bitching about it
If it doesn't come with Vorbis encoder, then we'll know that the fee wasn't the reason.
Hah.. thats almost funny.. they wont include a vorbis encoder because almost no one uses vorbis and its not really even completed anyway.
If the work is in a CD-ROM format, the deposit requirement is one complete copy of the material, that is, the CD-ROM, the operating software, and any manual(s) accompanying it.
so if my cd-rom works under windows they want me to give them a copy of windows too?
Being a small developer, and not having a registered copyright, there was nothing he could do. He certainly couldn't afford to take on the likes of Intel.
I bet neither of you even tried to sue them either.. thats the little guy is constantly getting taken advantage of because they perpetuate the myth that they cant win.. its a self fullfilling prophesy.. at least do something.. dont just whine about how the little guy can never win if you dont try..you dont contribute anything to the cause by doing that..
I think the main difference between a "server" os and a "desktop" os depends on what they are optimized for. For a typically desktop os you don't want all the server things running that you would normally associate with a server. This is the reason Windows2000 has three different versions (Pro, Server, Adv. Server for those of you that dont use windows) the different versions are optimized for different things. People tend to want more responsiveness out of the os on a desktop machine whereas stability is totally key in a server os. Servers need to be able to serve up files and connections to multiples of people whereas your desktop primarily needs to take care of your web browsing and game playing and occaisionally serve up files to small amount of people.
it works for me.. get the newest version of aim..
login using your icq name and password and add a buddy by their icq number and send them a message.. betanews i think had an article about this a while back
use aim sometime.. its not at all like icq.. aim is the program microsoft virtually cloned for their own messenger..and yes msn messenger is quite possibly the worst program put to code.
why bother when google.com probably has it cached anyway.. 90% of sites i've not been able to access are cached at google.

why advertise a site in your .sig but then not even work on it?

Of course, there's no *signature* on this agreement either, so I suppose that would be the first legal challenge, if there were one.
Yeah have they ever actually been able to say click thru licenses are valid in court?
