I got my TI-Nspire for doing 2 weeks unpaid work experience with their 2 IT guys in their offices at Northampton. I've barley used it, their is a piece of software that i got with it, which is basically the calculator software running in a virtual machine.
Its pretty neat, would be nicer with the ability to code small apps for it without needing to crack it.
I tried it (before this article) with just the firstperson command not the;
asw_hide_marine 1
asw_controls 0
commands, the marines head filled most of the screen and the controls were still reacting as if i was in 3rd person so i could barley turn.
Seriously the track they chose to loop when i heard it this morning was awful, it was too clear where it was looping. Moot did a much better job with the 4chan one a few weeks ago.
I thought about their 'big surprise' at e3 being steam for linux because its been implied multiple times that that's in the works. However it wouldn't be much of a big surprise considering how most of the source fanboys wont even have heard of linux.
And for steam supported inside xbox360 as a game acquiring tool, surely Microsoft wouldn't allow that because they wouldn't be making the profit?
So basically the riaa is probably plotting how it can give google the same fate. probably from directing users to files via the "index of" "parent directory" searches.
Surely there should be a box to abstain from voting (spoil your ballot), and this neutral should be checked by default.

I posted about that earlier in response to this when it had no comments, but my comment has gone walkies. I do not understand how slashdot works.
One of my teachers used this on his laptop which was an acer i think. He told me that it wouldn't let him login if he wasn't wearing a tie.
Apple's going to do well out of this, considering there was something about other school districts have started to adopt this/similar schemes.
