    The dog can probably go a couple days without charging. How long is your battery going to last blasting AC? Unless you leave it plugged into a charger you're already going to be down the power used to drive you there. How much juice does the AC use? Probably the biggest power drain after actually moving the vehicle.

  25. I'm not a browser developer or anything so I don't know if its possible but how about a do not send option to not send your data in the first place? OK they're going to need your IP so they can send data to you but do they really need to know your browser type/version, os, uptime and god knows whatever else the browser sends them? Send them nothing or send junk data.
