Outside the realm of technology and all things related to work, i am interesting in History.

I found that the actual history facts can be far more interesting immersive than any other novel or science fiction.

Cause of my Greek origin im enjoying reading ancient greek history but also the newest history in 18-19 century. There are some much about this world that actually happened once but no one cares to take it to the world! Why?

  8. experience, knowledge and skills is all you need on Ask Slashdot: Best Certifications To Get? · · Score: 1

Off course a degree is useful on finding a job. After all a degree means education which leads to knowledge. Knowledge that may other employees on the same field and maybe in higher position might not have.

But... yep there is a but here. In my opinion workers, managers and others don’t give a sheet about degrees. A man who runs a business and also has respect for him self should know that degrees DON'T count. They need experience, knowledge and skills that should distinguish you from other employees.

You surely need a degree that will get you some general knowledge about your field of work you are interested in, say a local university. After this get to work. Do something that would guarantee your worker that you know what you are going to do for this job. Guarantee him that you are not going to disappointed him. Degrees don’t do that.

Legalizing Marijuana is not necessary means more users, more more people abusing, etc... first of all marijuana is not abusing you... Unlike marijuana, alcohol and tobaccos kills people and we buy them from the local store... legal... Maybe we should start thinking that if was not illegal like others things, then people would not go crazy about it... The fact that is illegal is only benefits the drugs merchants who make the hell profit out of illegal things... and goverments knows that... drugs market is the most profitable market of all... think of it... heroine is like the most cheap product you can produce... but they sell it like x10 of its original price.... hell yeah.... the right way to go with, in my opinion, is to stop any kind of bans... i mean make them all legal and start educating the kinds in school so they what is and whats not and let them decide what to do with their life in their own... and not impose them what you want them to do.......

  11. bad teachers not doing their work=totally useless on Education Official Says Bad Teachers Can Be Good For Students · · Score: 1

I had a few experiences too at my university. Some bad teachers, other too lazy, other having other things rather that their educational duties. Let me bring an example from my university... there are four classes right now in my mind that if you check the final results of the exam would see an 10-20-30% success in every semester for years until a teacher got changed.... What the heck is happening with the others 90-80-70%??? Are they too stupid??? i also know too many coleages of mine that had late to get their degree or they didn't got it yet because of those courses... is this right or educational?? so i think bad teachers at schools are more useless rather than an advantage for the kids-students....
