    but in order for each client to know to trust that the other isn't a man-in-the-middle attacker, you need some kind of trust authority (usually a central CA). if the keys to that were compromised, then all bets are off - which is what mi was saying above.

  6. Youâ(TM)re confusing WSL (which is Microsoftâ(TM)s system for running Linux distros on windows without using the Linux kernel) with WLinix which is a 3rd-party district that runs on WSL.

    WSL is definitely worth it - itâ(TM)s free and the convenience/compatibility trade off is excellent. Sure, youâ(TM)ll need to run a VM if you need to test explicitly Linux kernel stuff like systems or iptables (for example), but for almost everything else, it just rocks. I use it all the time at work.

    WLinix is not. Itâ(TM)s a scam intended to part people from their money

    Rossi am repeatedly states that there are original apple batteries, that he has purchased from this supplier before and given it a high rating - which presumably means they ship what they sell.

    I havenâ(TM)t had issues with the debian zfs dkms recently and I have done many automated installs of production machines using it. But having it built in Ubuntu _is_ nice.

    Yeah I have filed several bugs against Nginx for not being standards compliant and non-interoperable with standards-compliant devices. Only to be met with the toxic reply of open-source projects everywhere: âoefix it yourself!â

    probably more accurate to say 'the distros used by nearly all linux users are already available in the Microsoft Store".

  25. wsl is targeted towards devs or users who obviously don't have the same level of paranoia about their machines, or have the wherewithal to configure their machines they way they like them.

    it's not for those that see windows as a 'game machine'. lol.
